I like the vibration at Whole Foods. Everyone is polite, they seem to be happy working there and there’s a wonderful selection. I particularly like the produce department and the seafood although I will admit it’s a little pricey. But you can get good deals. I also like their Large prepared food section, and bakery. I feel privileged to have this store so close to me and to have this free parking right there in the Center of Sarasota. By using my Amazon prime card, I get further discounts when items are on sale. I shop there frequently.

Yesterday, I purchased a meal, at the Whole Foods Market, located, at the District. My meal was placed in a container with a lid that did not stay closed and as a result, some of the food became exposed, in the cart. When I arrived to the check-out, Alex, the Cashier, attempted to secure the lid with tape, but, to no avail. She informed me that her Supervisor was nearby. I talked with the Supervisor, Katie, and I expressed my frustrations about the container and Katie offered to provide me with a fresh meal. She demonstrated excellent customer service and secured the container with durable tape and provided me with a reusable bag, that was ideal. I want to thank the Cashier for her assistance and referring me to her Supervisor, Katie. Also, I want to commend Katie, for performing above and beyond her normal duties. She should be recognized as the Employee of the Year and rewarded financially, as well! This commendation is from a very satisfied and grateful Customer. Thank you very much.

Let's face it, Whole Foods hot & cold food take-away will never win culinary awards. What it will do, and what it has done since its inception in 1980, is provide good, wholesome foods and reasonable prices to discerning grocery shoppers. I am not sure when they started the self-serve, make-your-own trays and salads, but we have used them, primarily on the road, since 1995 and have never been disappointed. As I said, the food offerings are base line; dependable and pedestrian, but you can expect that no matter where you go in the country where there is a WF. Its like a MickyD or BK or that ginger haired girl, but offering healthier options.
