I like the vibration at Whole Foods. Everyone is polite, they seem to be happy working there and there’s a wonderful selection. I particularly like the produce department and the seafood although I will admit it’s a little pricey. But you can get good deals. I also like their Large prepared food section, and bakery. I feel privileged to have this store so close to me and to have this free parking right there in the Center of Sarasota. By using my Amazon prime card, I get further discounts when items are on sale. I shop there frequently.

Yesterday, I purchased a meal, at the Whole Foods Market, located, at the District. My meal was placed in a container with a lid that did not stay closed and as a result, some of the food became exposed, in the cart. When I arrived to the check-out, Alex, the Cashier, attempted to secure the lid with tape, but, to no avail. She informed me that her Supervisor was nearby. I talked with the Supervisor, Katie, and I expressed my frustrations about the container and Katie offered to provide me with a fresh meal. She demonstrated excellent customer service and secured the container with durable tape and provided me with a reusable bag, that was ideal. I want to thank the Cashier for her assistance and referring me to her Supervisor, Katie. Also, I want to commend Katie, for performing above and beyond her normal duties. She should be recognized as the Employee of the Year and rewarded financially, as well! This commendation is from a very satisfied and grateful Customer. Thank you very much.

Let's face it, Whole Foods hot & cold food take-away will never win culinary awards. What it will do, and what it has done since its inception in 1980, is provide good, wholesome foods and reasonable prices to discerning grocery shoppers. I am not sure when they started the self-serve, make-your-own trays and salads, but we have used them, primarily on the road, since 1995 and have never been disappointed. As I said, the food offerings are base line; dependable and pedestrian, but you can expect that no matter where you go in the country where there is a WF. Its like a MickyD or BK or that ginger haired girl, but offering healthier options.

Went all the way to Sarasota from Siesta Key only to find out that this is a coffee bar inside Whole Foods store that is working only until 10 am!! What a waste...
I love this Whole Foods. While a bit smaller they still offer a good selection. It's conveniently located in downtown Sarasota for all those who live or work in the area. Their freshly prepared foods is always stocked when I stop by during lunch. Staff is friendly and points me in the right direction when I'm trying to find something. When I was sick the barista made me a special drink that I swear was the cure for my sickness. Some mint tea with a shot of ginger and honey. Parking can get pretty full on Saturday due to farmers market, but I've always found a spot. Speaking of farmers market, try to avoid bathrooms on Saturdays. it's full of people from the farmers market. Just something to avoid if you can hold it. Store overall is pretty clean. Product seems fresh. Prepared foods is hot.

I like to eat here for lunch so the quick hot food selection is always good. The salad bar has a huge selection of items. The fruit is always good and fully stocked. But sometimes the check out can get backed up. That's usually my fault because I go at night when everyone is off work. I would recommend this store to anyone.

This is a really nice Whole Foods. Very clean, everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. Their selections are great. Their bakery items delicious!!

No matter the location whole foods gives you that comfort of same. I enjoyed this whole foods as they have a very big selection of prepared foods. I stopped in for lunch and was surprised at the amount of selection that was available. And the seating outside was very nice. The weather is always good in Sarasota so eating out side worked great. I really liked this whole foods.

I frequent this Whole Foods location as it is near the office I work at, and is convenient to go to for lunch during the day. The hot bar always has some good choices, and whenever I'm there I see an employee putting fresh food out. Lately I've been hooked on their vegan meatballs (please don't ever get rid of them!!!!!!!). I don't really do too much grocery shopping here as I feel the prices are very high, but the food that I get on my lunch hour is always delicious. My issue lies in the fact that I absolutely HATE their parking garage. People here in Sarasota can't seem to drive very well (probably because they're either 100+ years old or on their phone), and they either are going down the one-way incorrectly, or they can't park in the narrow parking spaces and instead take up two spots leaving the rest of us to continue having to circle around as the place is always packed. I've almost been hit numerous times, both in my car as well as while I was a pedestrian crossing from the garage to go into the store. If I have time to spare, I'll look for street parking and walk just because I don't want to deal with that garage. Overall, in spite of the annoying garage, it's one of the better Whole Foods stores I've been to when it comes to food options and employee customer service.
