Amoré is one of our favorites as there is a choice of Italian or Portuguese entrés. And, they have Eddie Tobin, pianist performing on Sunday nights. We dined with friends and all enjoyed the food. My Ravioli of the day with lobster and crab was fabulous. Two guests loved their lobster with crab bisque soup. Nearby someone ordered Seafood Cataplana which is going to be my order on my next visit, which will be soon!
Intimate setting with great Italian and Portugese food and service.... a must for fine dining in Sarasota!
Wonderful food. Excellent service. Great people with outstanding entertainment. Highly recommend!
Excellent restaurant. It's a little hard to find, but a precious jewel. The food is typical Portuguese and Italian. Very romantic, with soft live music.
We love when Amandah Jantzen performs at the piano bar...complementing our delicious meal, service with care by the staff. With both Italian and Portuguese selections, everyone finds a winning entry. Plus the bread..WoW!
Very nice meal. Octopus appetizer was delicious. My wife had the chicken artichoke piccata with homemade node and I had the rack of lamb special both were excellent.
# A Charming Portuguese Dining Experience We discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant, and what a special place it is! The Portuguese owner makes a point to visit your table for a friendly chat, creating an immediate sense of welcome. The experience goes beyond just dining—the restaurant's singer not only stops by your table to converse but even encouraged me to sing a Brazilian song in Portuguese! Note: I am Brazilian... The warm atmosphere extends to the other guests, with fellow diners occasionally approaching our table to share a comment or appreciation. The ambiance is thoroughly pleasant, complemented by delicious food and an excellent wine selection. I absolutely loved this place. It offers that rare combination of genuine hospitality, entertainment, and outstanding cuisine that makes for a truly memorable dining experience.
Fantastic place. Tried a new dish. Arroz de Polvo. Very tender octopus rice. I’ve had it in many Portuguese places and this one is as good as in Portugal . Very generous portion with lots of flavors.

If I could give more than five stars, I would! Dinner was phenomenal. The flavors were out of this world! Everything was served to perfection! From the bread, to the appetizers to the main courses, to the desserts! Flavor faction! Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and honestly, the shopping plaza does nothing for this restaurant when you walk in the doors you feel, engulfed in their amazing atmosphere!
Family owned with a beautiful wife, running the restaurant and the chef in the kitchen, fully visible by clear plexiglass! Our server, Laura was phenomenal, friendly, and full of suggestions! She thoroughly added to the environment. The live music was beyond exceptional! We enjoyed every moment. We enjoyed every bit of this amazing restaurant and look forward to another phenomenal meal with delicious flavors!

1st time there! Will definitely go back. Owner in the kitchen. Wife hosts and runs the front!!
Small space, quite quaint, but had a great experience there
Had an amazing birthday dinner with authentic Portuguese cuisine and wine. The evening was topped off by great music and the owners are fully engaged for the best possible authentic dining experience from true restauranteurs who happened to be immigrant. Will go back as frequently as possible. Neighborhood location in an unassuming shopping center easy to dismiss, until you taste the food and enjoy the experience. Kent

Last night was our 1st visit...it certainly won't be our last. Wonderful hidden gem off the beaten path. We all enjoyed their Savor Sarasota menu...along with live music. Service was as spectacular as the food. You too will be thrilled.
