First time here and pleasantly surprised. Exceptional service and food. We had the Covina fish special of the night and veal parmigiana followed by crème brûlée Don't let the fact that the location, tucked away in a shopping center fool you. We will be back soon!!
We had such a lovely evening at Amore Restaurant. It’s a true gem in Sarasota! The food, the atmosphere, the live piano music - everything was just perfect. We had a 3-course meal: I had a Caesar salad, Bolognese pasta, and Tiramisu - all super delicious!!! My husband had the soup of the day, a cod dish, and Pastel de Nata - as good as the ones we had in Portugal.

My wife and I dined last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. The musician was very pleasant with the piano, and we ordered from both the portuguese and italian menus. We have been here several times but I read reviews that said some of the portuguese dishes were heavy on the salt, so we asked them to go light on the salt. Both dishes were delicious.
