We came because of the great rating & reviews! Teresa was Soo friendly & just such a pleasant person! Felt so welcomed & special! The food was amazing! I loved the wine machines! We were all so pleasantly surprised with the portions. It's such a cool thing that you get to see them working on your food! All fresh ingredients! Definitely hoping to come back next year!

We ran in on a Saturday and got 2 to go subs. They have the best meatball subs. The meatballs melt in your mouth. My son says this is his new favorite place It is not fancy. A cute clean local deli.

Loved the Grilled Vegetable Panini for take out lunch with friends. We all had them and not much left on the plates. Stopped back later and picked up an order of Eggplant Parmigiana which included a great salad and bread. Smart move by me. Thanks Anthony Jr. Definitely will see me again.

I just went to Anthony’s for the first time after hearing how good it is. I fondly remember the original from back in the day. The new location is spacious, airy and spotless! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The menu has lots of delicious sounding options from which to choose, including hot, cold and specialty sandwiches; pizza; salads; and entrees. I ordered a Antipasto salad and a Pizza to go and was surprised by how heavy the bag was when I picked it up. No wonder! The salad container was packed with antipasto goodness! Anthony’s also offers grab & go homemade refrigerated foods, as well as unique packaged products from the Old Country. This is great homemade food at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend Anthony’s!
OMG best sub in town. Loved it. So fresh! The menu tempts you to go back for dinner with Italian dishes like veal parmigiana. Believe me it’s worth it to stop in.

The container was filled to the brim with lettuce, cucumbers, pepperoncini, olives, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions (if desired), hummus and two generous slices of fresh feta cheese. It was the best Greek salad I’ve had in Sarasota and a far better value than others I’ve eaten. Anthony’s also offers homemade refrigerated foods, as well as packaged products from the Old Country. I highly recommend Anthony’s!
