Best meal we’ve had in a long time. The host was very attentive. We were in Sarasota just for the night. The trophy wife loves mussels and I’ve only seen such a large selection of mussels in Paris. We split the goat cheese salad. The rolls were delicious. I had the pork. Great sauce and veggies. Profiteroles with salted caramel ice cream were sublime. Highly recommended.

Our favorite restaurant in Sarasota.. We have been coming here for years, and always experience great food and service. While the mussels are always great, we look forward to the chef's specials each visit. The seafood specials are always creative and delicious. A great restaurant to relax, and enjoy the full experience of fine dining, with a local vibe.

Excellent classic cuisine in an admittedly very unassuming spot. Prices are a little high, but the food quality is well worth it, you certainly won't find many hidden gems like this around Sarasota. Being located inside a strip mall, I was skeptical at first, but the food was incredibly tasty, service was very friendly, and every bite was made with love. Delicious, worth the price tag, and makes for an excellent dinner experience.

Literally my favorite restaurant on the planet. I have been going here for 10 years and it never fails to impress. The husband and wife team are incredible. He runs the front of house and she masters the kitchen. My recommendation: let Olivier pick your wine. He knows the menu and the cellar better than anyone and has always provided the most interesting pairings. 5 stars all the way and worth every penny.

Antoine's is easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to (my wife seconds this). A hidden gem and well worth a visit. My wife and I were have a pre-anniversary getaway for the weekend in Sarasota. Never been to that area before I took a chance on an unassuming little restaurant located in a strip mall next to a Dominoes of all places. Talk about a diamond in the rough. My wife loves mussels, it's her favorite food - when I was looking for a place to dine our first night in town, the 10 different preparations of mussels was all I needed, along with some good reviews. From the time we stepped through the doorway into Antoine's our expectations were blown away by the service, the ambience and decor and of course - the food. Greeted warmly by our maître d' Olivier, who we soon found out was also the owner along with his wife Angela, he ushered us to our table with a friendliness and effortless hospitality. We felt like we had been transported to a small intimate restaurant in France being welcomed by an old friend. By the time we left we felt like we were indeed old friends. We started with the caesar salad and mushroom delight. Before we received our starters they brought out a delicous amuse bouche - a tiny bowl of vegetable bisque and housemade rolls. It was a small delectable taste, foreshadowing the level of flavor we would soon be enjoying thoughout our meal. The mushroom delight was indeed incredibly delightful (ask for a small serving of the house made baguette to be served with it). It was in a creamy garlic sauce and the taste was incredible. It was honestly difficult to restrain myself from licking the plate clean. The salad, was simply the best caesar salad I had been served (my wife as well). Small house made buttery croutons, dressing and absolutely packed with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, the romaine was cut into smaller pieces. From the smallest detail everything had careful thought put into it. The house made rolls were hot, light and airy. Hard to describe how delicate and flavorful they were but so easy to eat with the salted butter sourced from Europe. My wife selected Angela’s favorite Mussels for her entree. I picked the 9oz filet with blue cheese sauce on the side. First you must understand my wife is nothing short of a mussel aficionado. It's her favorite food item and very rarely will not order them if they are available on a menu. She has a list of her favorite mussels, her favorite places to eat them. It would be no exaggeration to say she's eaten well over 100 different preparations. These rose to the top as her all time favorite. Served properly with home made fries. The fries themselves were incredible, you could tell they double cooked the fries, which is the absolute correct way to make them in my opinion. My thick 9oz filet was perfectly seared and cooked, accompanied with some steamed vegetables, herbed butter and homemade fries as well. The blue cheese sauce was incredible. Finally if that wasn't all enough we ended with dessert - Profiteroles with Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream and Belgian Chocolate drizzle. Wow, wow, wow. We had a dilemma however. Neither my wife or I could stop thinking about the incredible meal we had, but more then that the incredible experience we had. We talked about it that night. We woke up and talked about it more in the morning. We had one more night in Sarasota and decided to change our planned Saturday dinner reservation. That's right, we went back and ate their on Saturday night as well! We weren't sure when we might be back in the area again and we both agreed it was wonderful and worth repeating. It did not disappoint the second night. We made a few different selections but suffice to say everything, just everything was delicious and warm and inviting. It was 2 nights of smiles, laughter and taking our time with our courses. Never once feeling rushed. Our server was Edwin who was equally hospitably and friendly. Both Olivier and Edwin provided excellent suggestions for

What a delicious and welcoming restaurant. The food and service are terrific. Olivier and Angela deliver, from such an unassuming exterior, an intimate and warm expression of food love. We drove over 30 minutes for our first visit and it definitely will become a regular occurrence for us!

From entering to exit world class. First time here and it won’t be the last. Mushroom, Goat Cheese Salad, Burrata, and Steak Tartare as appetizer were all prepared beautifully and tasted amazing. My wife and her friend had the Chilean Seabass special and everything on that plate was just perfect. My friend had the Filet Mignon and he said it was just mouthwatering. I had the Curry Mussels. The broth, the vegetables and the mussels were just to die for. We finished with Crème Brûlée and Profiteroles and that was one happy ending. Classic on point service delivery from Antoine and his team and all that came out of the kitchen beautiful and tastefully prepared by Chef Angela. Absolutely worth visiting. Kudos!!

This restaurant has far exceeded all others we visit in our area and quite literally we licked our plates clean!!!
