Applebee's Grill + Bar

I went in for the burger special where you get endless fries and drink for $9.99.. the service was excellent and the food was decent. Our waitress was the bartender and she was doing about three people's job. She did great.

I love Applebee's ❤️ My go to meal is the Grilled Chicken Oriental Salad. Hubby got a lighter meal of Lemon Chicken with Mashed Potato and Broccoli. We frequently go to Applebee's.

We waited to be seated when the restaurant was completely dead at 6:30 for about 10 minutes. Our waitress didn’t allow my husband to order drinks while my daughter and I were in the bathroom, brought him his drink and didn’t even ask what my daughter and I wanted until she came back to take our food order. Our appetizer was okay, but both our meals were entirely over seasoned and gross. I tried to get someone’s attention for a spoon, the bartender acknowledged that I needed something from across the restaurant, but then I wasn’t able to get a spoon for another 15 minutes until I got another waiters attention. Waitress came back when we were finished eating to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. I’ve been here before, it’s always the same, I should probably just stop trying to eat at Applebees.

Applebee's has always been a great spot to relax and get food. We were in Sarasota for my birthday weekend visiting. We've never had a bad experience with any other Applebee's. From the time we arrived to the time we left I came to the conclusion this one is an exception. The hostess seemed annoyed and not very welcoming. Not a smile or greeting. This ended up setting the tone for the remainder of time there We were seated, waited for quite some time before we were greeted by the server. The server was nice. Service wasn't great but it was ok. Straws weren't given when we got our drinks for a while. Silverware not given with food we ordered. Had to wait on both. Gave him my CC to pay and he gave my CC to another patron after he had it for quite some time. The whole experience made us feel uneasy. Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit this establishment again. We will find another restaurant that makes their patrons feel welcomed to be there with better service.

Don’t waste your time or money. The staff is slow and non caring. Food was cold and over cooked, cheeseburger was extremely greasy. Asked for a box twice and our check. Got the check not the box. It was 1000 at night place was dead, the bar was busy. Terrible for the money
