Excellent service, Sat outside and enjoyed unusual and delectable "sharables" - duck confit to name one and smoked salmon pita - delightful!

Just had dinner there on January 6, 2026. I ordered a prime rib that arrived overdone. Our server, Martha, graciously, brought me another entree, smashburger - very good. The next thing we knew, Adian, executive Chef, came to the table to apologize. He was genuinely concerned. Following Adrian's concern, Christin, general manager, also came to the table to apologize. Complimentary desserts were sent for the entire party. Well Done Arts and Central. Martha gave us some of the best service I've ever had in Sarasota. I was in the restaurant business for over 40 years and this way to-do it. Great service, thanks Martha. Very interesting menu & presentation, thanks Adrian. Cristina is watching the floor and following up, thanks Christina. Other restaurants in Sarasota need to take a look at Arts & Central. They are doing a great job.

Wonderful evening and every detail was on point. They have some truly exceptional and unique dishes you won't find anywhere else. The Duck Egg Bolognese was simply divine, and there were tables near us who were raving about theirs. It smelled so wonderful we had to order our own. The mushroom parfait appetizer is amazing and a dish you will remember long after the evening is over. The wagyu filet is so tender and so wonderfully presented. We find the portions generous, the prices reasonable, and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. Truly one of our favorite spots in all of Sarasota. Can't wait to return!

I was very impressed with the service. Our waiter was attentive. His first question was if we had any food allergies. That's nice to know since 2 at our table have food allergies. He was able to guide us with appropriate choices.

It was New Years Eve, but the service was less attentive than expected. Waited almost 20 minutes for cocktails. I think our server was a bit overbooked (or maybe she just had a high maintenance tables). Food was excellent. One positive note was that on a previous visit over the summer, we were told the chef did not allow substitutions (sides etc). They were much more accommodating on this visit. We will be back.

The food was excellent, creative, tasty dishes. The service was excellent, the restaurant dining space is wonderful, with enough room to maneuver and socialize.

New Year's Eve dinner was perfect. Often on a holiday, at some restaurants, the food is not up to par. Prices often go up and service is chaotic or lacking. Everything at Arts and Central was at it's best - perfect fish dishes and service.

The perfect dinner on New Year's Eve. Service was the best and swordfish entree was so delish. We dine frequently and we always have a great experience.

We always enjoy our dining experience at Arts & Central and last night was no exception. We especially liked the quieter ambiance last night - probably because there was no live entertainment, which raises the noise level considerably!

A good experience primarily due to band Hot Club SRQ. The dinner was generally good except for the bolognese which was flavorful but very dry. Service left something to be desired as Moses, our server, was very sharp and attentive when we arrived, but when other tables filled up we had trouble getting his attention. I blame this more on the restaurants training than anything else. The Discerning Dinner

The three others ordered swordfish and were happy with their dinners. I ordered chicken mole pot pie for $34. It was okay tasting but there was incredibly little chicken in the pot pie. The dish was mostly crust and mole sauce with tiny pieces of vegetables and chicken. Should not qualify as an entree! Our server was friendly and efficient when he was around, but he was not around for significant amount of the time. We ate outdoors which was very pleasant. We have eaten frequently at this restaurant and this was a disappointing dinner to me.

Every dish & drink are awesome. I have enjoyed their swordfish....as well as the trout. The cocktails...as well as the extensive wine list are so yummy.

Consistently good food. Great service and lovely outdoor seating. Very accommodating with young children.

The server was very attentive however overall it was a disappointing dining experience. Regarding the food , the wagyu was exceptionally good but our other entrees were not great. The prime rib was extremely salty and the trout was just average in taste. Probably won't return.

Opentable Diner

Christmas Eve Dinner, we were able to book a same day reservation and sat and kitchen bar. Loved the experience with my 8 year old daughter and the food and service were fantastic. Two great vegan options to choose from. We are locals and this place is one of our favorites!
