Service and ambiance good; food not so much. I feel that the food was very bland and tasteless. When I get the Greek food jones' again, I'll drive to Bradenton..........Never thought I'd say that.

We found this little place on line and were missing our Greek places from back in NY. We picked a day that someone hit a power pole so no lights. That did not stop them from serving, all but the soda machine. Amazing Gyro and Chicken Slovakia. Our server was a sweetheart and made sure everyone was taken care. Best Pita we have had in a while!!!! Thank you for making lemonade of or lemons!!!!

A wonderful find. I had a spinach pie and lemon soup. Tom had GYRO platter. And we ended our meal with the best baklava. Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Another wonderfully delicious find off the beaten path. I love Greek food, and this was the best Greek food I've ever had. The grape leaves were big tender and meaty. I chose spinach, pie and vegetables with lemon chicken soup. A wonderful choice. Tom had the Gyro platter. The salad was fresh and the meat was perfect and we ended our meal with the best baklava I have ever had. If you miss this restaurant you've missed something wonderful.

Service sucks! I came in at 1:00. There was one table seated and that's it! I went to the counter to order and waited 7 min. Nobody came out to check if there were new customers, in fact no one staff person was present at all the whole time. So I left. Horrible service if they can't even say hi and be visible. This place is definitely needing some new staff. Get people that pay attention to customers. You lost one today.

Little gem. They were not busy and waitress quite attentive. Even though they didnt have Roditis wine or Saganaki the food and atmosphere was good. We had the greek garden salad as an appetizer and wife had lamb burger with cheese and bacon. I had gyro platter. My gyro meat was yummy. Pitas were delicious. For dessert we got two baklavas to go and the greek custard Galaktoboureko. Drink selection was decent. Wish they had Roditis.

I've only had Greek food a couple of times. This was definitely the best I've had so far. Everything was just so perfectly cooked and seasoned.. service was great, and the place was peaceful and very enjoyable.

We have tried gyros at several Sarasota restaurants that didn’t quite live up to our expectations. (We are not Greek so maybe we are not the best folks to review). We did a google search and found this place nearby. The gyros were fantastic! We selected the gyro sandwich which came with fries or a small salad. We got one of each. The gyro came wrapped in wax paper and the pita was overstuffed with tender lamb, onions, tomatoes and Tzatziki sauce. Way too much to eat! Next time we will share one.

Great food. Got lamb/beef burger and chicken gyro. Staff was friendly. Picked up to take home. Food was hot. Baklava was to die for!!!! Prices worth the quality.

We ordered and got our take out around 7:15pm. The restaurant was empty upon arrival, but the host was super nice and helpful. We got the gyro and it came with either fries or salad. The fries were on the softer side but still yummy. The gyro was pretty big. I finished 3/4 of it and was stuffed. The meat had good flavoring and paired well with the vegetables and sauce. I would come back and try the other foods

Excellent! I ordered a Greek salad topped with grilled salmon. The salad was crisp and fresh (even the tomatoes!), the dressing was light and refreshing, and the salmon was a nice sized filet that was prepared perfectly. I also ordered hummus, which was creamy and just how I like it. I will be ordering again and again. Highly recommend.

This place is a wonderful choice for a last minute lunch plan that ended up feeling like a special occasion. The service was extraordinary, from the moment the hostess threw open the door to greet us to when she came by later in the meal to give us just the right amount of attention. We felt taken care of but not rushed. We ordered a hummus appetizer as a simple option to accommodate the tastes and dietary restrictions among three people. It was fresh, slightly lemony and garlicky, and delicious! Way more of a treat than one expects hummus to be! The warm grilled pita put it over the top. We could easily have just eaten the pita by itself and been perfectly happy. The gyro sandwich would have been enough for two. It came with a mound of fresh, crispy fries -- delicious with an extra order of tzatziki that the server cheerfully brought us. Gyro meat was tender and flavorful as well. I loved the Horiatiki salad, brimming with generous chunks of cucumber, tomato, about a thousand kalamata olives, and a slab of great feta. I'm bound to order it again. Raves at our table for the spanikopita as well. The filling was more of a creamed spinach consistency than I'm used to.But the real star of the meal was the galaktoboureko for desert. Luscious semolina custard in a crispy phyllo wrapper. It's not huge, but split it because it is really rich.So glad to have found great tasting, authentic Greek food in this part of town. And the clean, friendly, tastefully decorated environment makes me want to give it extra stars!

Family owned and operated local spot for delicious Greek food. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Situated inside a plaza, this is a local spot with a steady following of regulars. These owners have been in this business a long time, like 20 years, having previously owned Dina's Diner across the street. On this night I went for dinner. The chicken lemon soup is full of flavor and warms you right up. The grilled lemon chicken was tender and healthy. I found the vegetables lacked seasoning and the one sliver of a boiled potato was too minimal to be considered a side. Dinner portions are on the smaller side and prices are reasonable. There is a couple of Greek wine selections at $9 and $10 a glass and 2 beer options. There are some desserts options as well. I have been here for lunch and the Gyro with fries is outstanding. Will have to come back for breakfast.
