1592 | Wood Fired Kitchen & Cocktails

We have been to 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen several times. The food is well-prepared, attractively presented, creative and plentiful. We ordered branzino, which came presented as the whole fish, head to tail. We would have preferred some waiter assistance to split the fish between two diners. The restaurant has a nice ambiance; we will return.

We enjoyed George our server very much. Table 31 was an excellent spot for the six of us. Food excellent just wonderful evening with close friends.

2nd time there and the food was good. It's generally a little noisy in the main dining area so we opted for a back corner which was much better. Always a good mix of menu options. We'll keep going back

First time at 1592 and every dish we had was delicious! Service was attentive. Lively atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Had not been here in a long but glad we went back. Everything was 5 stars: service, food and noise level. Enjoyed a nice leisurely early dinner where we could hear our party of 4.

What a wonderful experience we had. Our reservation was for 5 PM and most of the tables were already filled outside the restaurant so we thought the service might be a little slow. We sat inside at a table that was comfortable for four of us old folks. The service was quick and efficient and our server was very polite. The food runners who also cleared our table were well organized and left no empty plates behind. The food came out quickly and everything was amazing. I forgot to take pictures, but we had buba ganush with Pita bread, the best calamari that I have ever had. I loved the Thai chili sauce that was on it, the hot fries were delicious, the poutine was amazing (we liked that they poured the hot gravy on the fries at the table) and lastly the grilled chicken on pita was seasoned perfectly. We couldn't decide what to eat because the menu was so extensive so we chose a variety and were not disappointed. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed the atmosphere and were able to talk and hear each other. This restaurant is definitely a smooth operation from the host to the bartenders to the wait staff. The food was reasonably priced, and our drinks were very good. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.

We love the saganaki, flaming cheese and lamb chops - always our first choice. There are so many other excellent items. The half-price wine on Tuesday is great too.

The variety of choices and quality of preparation are superior. From cocktails to desserts, everyone in our party was overly impressed. Paid parking is available in a next door lot which is a plus.

Had a quick dinner with my husband and bestie. Now of us had been there before. It was a great place to sit inside or out. we had a wonderful visit and the staff was very friendly. Get the dirty fries!!! They were so tasty. The Rum runner was good and the lavender mojito was top notch.

1592 served us an amazing dinner. We didn’t have reservation and we easily received a table. Wine was great. Food was amazing. Would highly recommended for dinner if you are in town celebrating a friend/family member or trying to impress.

Had a wonderful experience at 1592 over the weekend! The food, drinks and service were all top notch! They also have a great happy hour that they offer thought out the entire restaurant not just the bar area. Highly recommend checking out! They have something on the menu for everyone!

The chairs are so uncomfortable. I was in such discomfort sitting there, they are too high, we sat inside. Food was amazing. Service was okay.

My family and I LOVE this place!!! The service is excellent, the location is eclectic and beautiful and the food is PHENOMENAL! The avgolemono soup is my go-to comfort soup when I’ve had a rough day or I’m just not feeling great. The mushroom risotto is perfection! It’s a hearty, scrumptious meal when you’re in the mood for something filling but aren’t in the mood for meat, chicken or fish. And the portions are huge! Which is good because the kids are always stealing from my plate when I order from there. Everyone in the house loves it. It’s such a special treat to have dinner there. Sooo glad they are on Uber eats!
