Had a good waiter - Lexi. Sat out on terrace. Very cluttered with storage of various items - like chairs, tables, glasses, unsightly meter boxes. They need to take an hour and get rid of the mess and find something to cover the meter boxes. Wait staff, very pleasant, but they all need to dress more professionally. All of this keeps the restaurant from being a fine dining experience.
We loved it. First time in and we'll be back for sure. The restaurant is stylish and fun -and the service was kind and attentive. Shout out to Kat -super fun! The food was excellent and just the right amount. The Lava Cake went down a little too smoothly, a testament to Kat's recommendations. Well worth exploring the interesting and unique menu. Not your standard fare and that's a good thing in a usually predictable food landscape.
Sunday brunch was definitely a hit. Awesome vibes/music from Odie. Make your own bloody Mary and a great brunch menu
Overall, this was an incredible experience! DJ Odie for Sunday brunch was awesome. I would recommend checking this place out! Perhaps when it's not so hot outside that was the only downfall is it was extremely warm outside, but that is not the restaurant fault. They can't control the weather.
Had a great time at Rose & Ivy. The sushi rolls were delicious as was the charred octopus. Drinks were also top notch and our waitress was the best part of it all. My daughter was 21 and they gave her a free shot !
Top notch! We had dinner on Sunday PM. I had shashimi and my wife had tuna shashimi nachos. We were seated upstairs and it was very quiet. Behind was Wei and Iceman. Both were very friendly and know their craft very well. Our server was Alex had she was great, attentive without hovering. The salmon on crispy rice, our appetizer was special. The food was delicious and we will surely return. Great restaurant for a quiet and delicious dinner. If we could rate higher we would!
No elevator to second floor. Ground floor was not offered despite my obviously bring handicapped.
A Hidden Gem in Downtown Sarasota: The Rose & Ivry The Rose & Ivry was a pleasant surprise — a cozy, upscale spot tucked away in downtown Sarasota offering an impressive blend of sushi and unique entrées that truly please the palate. I enjoyed a memorable daddy-daughter dinner here with my daughter. We started with melt-in-your-mouth Toro (fatty tuna) sashimi, followed by two standout sushi rolls: the Mango Express and the Spicy Yellowtail — both fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For my main course, I chose the Korean Bone-In Pork Chop, served with crispy Brussels sprouts, scallions, and jasmine rice — a savory and well-balanced dish that hit all the right notes. Although we didn't try it, the restaurant also offers a special three-course prix fixed menu that looked like a great value and would be perfect for a curated dining experience. If you're looking for an exclusive, intimate setting with top-notch food and service, The Rose & Ivry is a fantastic choice. I'll definitely be going back.
Loved the mixed grill that we shared. So good to try a variety of flavors. The Sliders were a stand by favorite. Pot stickers a nice change of flavor palette and sushi balanced the menu. Be sure to try the Yolanda Cosmo!
Waited 40 min for drinks. Received apps before drinks. Smelled of mold. Food was delicious. Owner is nice

My girlfriend and I recently had an incredible date night at Rose and Ivy in Sarasota, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the trendy yet classy vibe, making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening. The service was excellent—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed.
We started with the poke tuna, which was fresh and full of flavor, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. The sushi, though, truly stole the show—it was some of the best we’ve had in the area. On top of that, their specialty drinks were crafted to perfection, adding a fun and sophisticated touch to the night.
If you're looking for a stylish, classy spot for a date with fantastic food and drinks, Rose and Ivy is definitely the place to go. We can’t wait to go back!

If you’re searching for a new restaurant in Sarasota, check out Rosen and Ivy! They offer live music on a lovely patio, a fantastic menu, and even better food. The owner, Raff, makes a point to visit each table, adding a personal touch to the experience.

Made a reservation through the website(which directed me to Open Table). Selected indoor seating and left comments in my reservation which were then confirmed via email. Arrived and the hosting staff could not seat us and provided nothing to resolve the issue.
As locals to Sarasota me and my party were very disappointed. I definitely won’t make it a priority to visit again or ever…
