This place has been here since the 1950s and it’s both a timewarp throwback and an absolute experience. Rum is currency here; even the standard old fashioned is made with rum, and it’s pretty good by the way. Friendly bartenders, resort guests and locals populate the landscape. And there’s live music on the awesome tiki porch. Gordon Lightfoot, Prince and more were on the playlist.

Padded bill Saturday night at the Bahi Hut! nobody had a Mai Tai, but we got charged 13 extra dollars for one. Tried to like this place but it's so poorly managed, they should just close it

A Sarasota classic in that many a college/Art School student came here over the years! It has been fully restored including a very large outdoor tiki space! Smoke free indoors and a plethora of Tiki-drinks.

Went to the Bahi Hut Tiki Cocktail Lounge with some friends last night drinks were strong, vibes were perfect. But then we tried the vending machine… and I swear it wasn’t normal. First it handed us a hotdog like someone carefully placed it there, then a whole pool noodle slowly slid out like it had no business fitting inside. At that point we were convinced there was a guy actually living in there, just waiting to mess with people. Funniest part of the night, hands down.

According to their signs this is Florida’s oldest tiki bar looks like it’s been well kept up it didn’t feel too grungy and the drinks were really good and hibiscus mule was my favorite. The kitchen was closed for the night when I went so I don’t know about the food

This is an amazing little spot. I can't give a true rating on the food because I just have drinks there. But very cool vibe and the drinks are spot on.
