My name is Richard Stembridge. I’m a local interior designer in Sarasota. Tonight was a Horrible experience with the bartender. I’m Not sure what her name was because she never spoke to me and after 10 minutes of sitting there, ask if I wanted a drink, never ask anything. They were not that many people there, but they were all her age which is mid 30s. I on the other hand are mid 60s. I asked to see the manager but he could not be found. She ask why I wwnted to see the manager, and I proceeded to tell her that she had not waited on me, nor even greeted me. Then she became belligerent and very rude.. Being a sister Restaurant to Kojo, which is one of my favorite places I was shocked by her treatment towards me. I give it a 1 out of 5 stars.

Bar Hana is a wonderful place. Cocktails, food, atmosphere and service are each excellent and consistent. Classy yet casual. If you are a seasoned patron of establishments which fit this mold you will recognize the poor reviews for what they are. Bar Hana should be on your short list for a visit to Sarasota.

Everything was amazing. The cocktails were terrific, including their unique take on a margarita. I loved the steak lettuce wraps. The atmosphere was magical, and the staff was great.

Super cute, small space with island themed decor. Stopped in on a Sunday night with a small group for a nightcap. Bartender was friendly and had us sipping on some delicious craft cocktails in no time.

The bar tender Guy just blew my mind with a mescal Negroni and I have honestly have never tasted anything like it in my mouth. Would recommend 100%. If you like tequila ou need to order this and trust Guy with your life.

The food is awesome! Treat yourself out at least once in a while with the tasty and artful Japanese-inspired tacos in a nice setting! Gaetano, the bar tender, is chill and easy going, nice Guy to talk to ?, and makes excellent drinks, especially the espresso martini among others! ?☕?

The drinks are esthetically pleasing and super delicious. It's a bit pricey, but the drinks really are awesome. The place is dim inside, and gives you Hawaiian vibes. The servers are super attentive, constantly refilling your water drinks.

I randomly had this pop up on social media a while ago so when I found myself near here on vacation I knew I had to check it out. After some confusion over the menu/food situation we settled in and were so glad we did. They are more of a bar only, but later in the day you can order from their sister restaurant next door and earlier in the day, the NY style deli. The drink menu is great and its such a fun looking place! The standout here is the bartender, Bercari. He was a joy to talk to while we hung out. Cannot recommend Bar Hana enough if you're in the area. Oh, and obviously order Francine the Flamingo - she was amazing!
