Bar Hana and Kojo are my favorite to restaurants in Sarasota. The quality of the food and cocktails are unmatched. Everything is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. The ambiance in Bar Hana is so tropical and relaxing.

Drinks take a very long time (one other table sat?), all ice, so dark you can’t even see the menus and very loud. The one waiter in there was in no rush and on his phone the entire time. Cheap wicker furniture? Really? Fake plants are insanely tacky. Larger female manager is cold and rude. Asked to speak with “General Manager” if you can even call him that, also rude and clueless. No wonder the place is dead all the time. Do not recommend.

The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Ashley was so sweet. But! the only dish that they know they're dead wrong for even throwing on a plate were the lettuce wraps. Lettuce wraps were trash. Chewy kabob-like meat with soft ass lettuce that felt closer to a rose petal than anything I'd see in the produce section. LOL. With all that said, everything else was pretty good considering. Thanks for the hospitality!

This place has some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while! My friend and I stopped in later in the evening for some apps and cocktails. The atmosphere in the evening feels so warm and inviting and the service is top tier. Our server, Chandler, was amazing! Such a bubbly positive attitude and had the best recommendations for our taste. 10/10 highly recommend

Sat at the bar for drinks and snacks—- both were absolutely delicious. Bartending staff was amazing as well. Keep that Saturday night crew happy… staff like that is hard to find. :-)

Worst experience with this place. Our server messed up our checks. We had 3 couples getting drinks. The waiter mixed up two of the couples cards. We addressed it and told him and he "fixed it". Charged the same card again.... so we told him and he started to argue with us that we were wrong. Yet we knew whose card was who and what bill was what. He said "I don't usually argue with customers but I had it right" no he did not. The bill was 17 vs 52. I think we know there's a difference. He was absolutely horrible and we will never go back there. It was not even busy and maybe 3 tables and 3 people at the bar. Horrible

Craft cocktails that are probably underdogs and not viewed as highly as they should by the regular person. Tiki vibes without overwhelming sweetness coating their menu, unlike most others. This was the best craft cocktail experience I had in my 5 day vacation in Sarasota. Working in hospitality, this was extremely impressive. Bakari was an awesome, personable, and happy bartender who genuinely strives to just make sure a simple rule is followed: that everyone is having a good time. Whether you want to get out of the Sun with their darker indoor tiki atmosphere, or get some tanning done in the patio seats near the shopping, this is certainly the place.
Stumbled upon this place on a late Sunday morning and were instantly charmed. The space itself has a tropical tiki vibe. Tom, the bartender, was extremely welcoming and informative about everything on the menu as well as the other restaurants owned by the team that runs Bar Hana.. I had the Road to Hana cocktail, which was a delicious rum, pineapple, coconut blend and looked like something folks dream about drinking on vacation. For food, we split the ceviche - also delicious and served in a coconut.

Stopped in for a nightcap, the atmosphere is amazing. However, the bartender was extremely rude. Maybe he was having a bad night, regardless there is no reason to be rude, you are a bartender you should actually have a good personality.
