Basil's Flame Broiled Chicken

Worst Gyro in Sarasota? The meat seems to be raw and came out of a little plastic bag. The people preparing/ handling, the food were not wearing gloves. Once I took the sandwiches home they were not edible threw them in the garbage where they belong will not be going back to Basil’s flame broiled chicken at the corner of Ridge and McIntosh Road in Sarasota.

This place is not what it just to be I always say they have the best Greek salad in Sarasota but the last 2 times I got one is been worse for small salad is 9 dollars which if it was good I would paid more this is the last time I would buy a salad from them

This is how every Basil’s location should be. Food never disappoints and awesome customer service!!! Way better than the Bee Ridge location that got tweakers who are all over the place

The flavor was good but the chicken was DRY. Also, they gave me macaroni salad instead of potato salad on my to go order. I didn't notice that until I got home and it was too far away to drive back to for an exchange. I may try Basil's again, but I'm kinda leery after this first experience

Always loved this place growing up as a child! Food has always made fresh and tasty. Never once have I ever encountered a bad experience with Basils. I recommend you give this family owned restaurant a try!

I have been coming to this location since the 90’s when Dean worked there. I moved away for 10 years and now live in Tampa. I was so excited to drive down and stop in for lunch today. I was soooo disappointed. The service was so slow. The food was less than appealing. The fajita wrap had no onions or peppers. Stoffers makes a better Mac and cheese than what I received. The chicken salad pita was just ok. Even though our order was only $25, sadly it was a waste of money and a waste of 2 hours. I’m very sad

Kosta is amazing! Always polite and the food is amazing! So much better then fast food...
You have to try the chicken pot pie they make fresh!!! It's huge and the flavor of their chicken... you don't find it like that anywhere else :-]
Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: They have a really nice vegi wrap and an authentic
spanikopita --> spinach pie with feta :-)

House e makes the best ribs and chicken. The wings and legs are tiny to get extra. I hate to say it but I don't like any of the sides just get the full rack of ribs!

It's a classic that's been open as long as I can remember. The chicken is the heart of this restaurant, and it's seasoned beautifully. Don't forget to get a side of tzatziki!

Basil’s was fantastic! They were able to provide bulk orders of food on short notice for 40+ National Guard soldiers here for Hurricane Milton relief efforts. We couldn’t appreciate them more! The food was amazing as was Stavros and his entire staff. On behalf of the FLNG, thank you guys!

Really love this place, its a great spot for lunch or dinner. It may be a bit on the pricey side but its always well worth it. The flame grilled chicken is always fresh and delicious and doesn't leave me feeling weighed down when on a lunch break from work. The owners and staff are also always very friendly people

mexican guy still keep serving left over burnt chicken wings? im very annoyed. theyre not even edible to eat! ordered 1dz to a half burnt for the whole price of one.
