Superb greek cuisine on St. Armand's Circle. A little too cold for outside, but there is a covered patio with heaters and even seating outdoors. We shared two appetizers (Apple and Beet Salad and a baked cheese dish that was terrific), I had the Giant Prawns and my wife had the Moussaka. Less ambitious eaters could have shared, but this would be a great place to come with 4 or more and sample the wonderful options of meat, fish, seafood, and even vegetarian options. Our waittress was great, too.

Exceptional service and food! We ordered way too much, as portions are quite large. Looking forward to the leftovers! We arrived with a 2-year old and they quickly got him settled into a high chair. They brought crayons and paper to keep him occupied, and special plates and plastic ware. Everything we ordered was delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating in every way. We look forward to returning.

We don't live near Longboat Key but whenever we are there we make it a point to eat at Blu Kouzina. The food is truly outstanding! It's the best restaurant we've found in the area. I highly recommend the grilled calamari (the entree, not the appetizer which is not grilled). It comes on a big platter with lemon roasted potatoes, crispy fried ribbon cut vegetables, and salad greens with dressing. The kalamaki souvlaki is also outstanding. Very tender beef on a bed of sliced tomatoes with a house made tzatziki sauce. Even in the off season, reservations are a must.

Reliably delicious, we love most everything about it. I did notice significantly higher prices on most items and the Greek salad now seems overpriced, especially when it feels as though there are more cucumbers and the block of feta is small compared to previous years.

Wonderful service. So personal and professional. Every dish was delicious. This is a jewel of a restaurant

I would rate this place a 5 star weekly if I could come here that often. Love the food, service and ambiance and have done so for many years. Always a must when we are close by.

We had very poor service the last visit - normally we were taken care of wonderfully. Theo was not working and the waiter we had seemed to forget he had or table and hardly visited. Otherwise the food was excellent as always

We had a reservation for 7pm They told us someone was lingering at our table and to come back in 20 minutes. We came back after 20 minutes and they told us to wait another 20 minutes. This has never happened to us before at Blu Kouzina.

Very good food, especially the calamari and the lamb shank in lemon, but portions are huge. We felt bad about returning unemptied plates of fine food. So plan ahead and paerhaps plan to share some items.

Our reservation was for 2.30 we actually got seated out on the side walk around 2.50 no biggie. Theo was a great server although we waited at least 15 minutes for our check. Food was delicious although only Luke warm which was disappointing especially as it was $60 bucks for 4 small lamb chops. All of us enjoyed our meals and I would go there again.

The noise level wasvery high. We chose to eat outside under a covered patio to avoid the noise in the 1/2 full inside dining area. You couldn't carry on a normal conversation, and the other patrons were shouting at each other, too. Very unpleasant. The food was good but pricey for what you got.

Amazing food, service was prompt and friendly. We had an incredible meal and can't wait to go back.

We have eaten here once before over a year ago and was happy with the food then. On this visit I was disappointed with the kitchen passing off old food as fresh. Old roasted potatoes, old zucchini in the veg wrap, old, overcooked Imam Baildi, and what meat was in the lamb wrap? It's sure not cubed or pulled lamb meat but perhaps ground lamb(?) At $25, this wrap with fries is just not worth it. And aside from the moussaka, everything came out luke warm at best. Please serve your food hot. The high prices at Blu Kouzina does not match the quality and quantity of the food served. Sorry

We have eaten here several times because the food is really good and very authentic. We like to eat under the covered outside area. Last week our waiter approached our table for the first time and said are you ready to order. Not hello or can I get you a drink or have you seen the specials. We felt like we were at a Greek diner instead of this expensive restaurant. Once we did order, he was rushing us to decide what to have. Throughout the meal we heard wait staff throw dishes into the plastic bin right next to our table also like a diner not a fine restaurant. A little Greek music out there would have been nice. We were in and out in a little over an hour and I don't feel that I had a nice dining experience for the expensive check we received. It was about $100 a person, one glass of wine each for 4 of us and no dessert.
