restaurant was busy- march in florida with all the snowbirds. However waiting 53 minutes to get food is a joke-UNLESS THE FOOD IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD-and this place was not it. My halibut was good-however the dover sole my wife had was loaded with salt which tells me the cook isn't an expert. Has anyone ever told this restaurant about food presentation? It is like a third grader presented the food. Way too much salt in everything. Potatoes were a 5 out of 10- too hard and not very good flavor. After having dover sole from a 5 star restaurant in Paris this dover sole was a huge let down. Arrived at restaurant at 535PM and did not leave until 715-due to everything taking FOREVER. Will not go back....

True fresh Greek cuisine. Went back 3 times after giving it a try. Food is amazing and the service is great. Glad we tried it. Skip all the other restaurants at the circle and try this place. Grilled calamari and Greek potatoes were over the top the best.
Hostess unwelcoming despite prior reservation pointed us to a table where she added a 5th seat at the head of the table, in the walkway. Didn't bring menus and we waited for our waitress for 10 min. This restaurant spoiled our experience when the check was presented charging a 3.5% credit card fees and a 20% Gratuity already added. When asked why, the reply was it is stated on the menu. The waitress brought up the menu and on the back of it "a blank page" except for the notation that for 4 pers and more a 20% gratuity MAY BE added. This is a restaurant that nickel and dime when their whole fish is at $75. Additionally corkage fee is $35 when one of the best restaurant in Sarasota downtown charges $25. No doubt the restaurant is free to establish their own fees "if" they are lawful and the customer is also free to find their suitable restaurant!

Love it here. Everything is amazing. Food, service, atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to experience what the 5-star reviews experienced as the rude maitre d did not honor my group's reservation. We arrived on time to find that our table was given away to a "regular". But not all is lost, thanks to her rudeness, we ended up going to a different restaurant (Venezia) and had a blast there instead!

I'll get to the point! Made a reservation 2 weeks ahead bcs we are a group of 8, arrived 10 mins before the time slot, and the woman at the front said to wait, ok we did. We saw a table set up for 8 ppl so I thought ok that's the table! Nope! A guy who's apparently a regular customer came in and asked for a large group seating and she gave that table away! I asked her how long is our wait? She said she dont know, 10mins later she pointed to 2 tables that might be coming up and we should take it 4 ppl at each table.now that's not right. What are reservations for anyway? The woman was very rude and that's not how I wanted to start my vacation.

Greek food is my absolute favorite. I'm from Long Island, NY which has an abundance of Greek spots. I can safely say that this is probably one of the best Greek spots I've been too ?
Everything was great, except the hostess line had us waiting 15 minutes over our reservation because of disorganization; nonetheless, once seated, everything was spectacular, and the waitstaff was very diligent with requests. The ambiance and food were perfect!

We went with friends who loved it. Their first time. Daniella was great. The halibut special with lemon potatoes was outstanding. My husband said the lamb in red sauce was the best he ever had. We went to New Zealand and LOTS of lamb so that is quite a statement from him.

Paying $8.5 surcharge to get a gluten free pita is a little excessive I understand the ingredients are more expensive but that's just too much Don't want to feel penalized for having celiac disease

Everything is excellent!!! Have been a couple of times and all that we ordered was delicious. Would greatly recommend the Greek salad and the red pepper dip appetizer!
