Food was good, but not much better than typical pub/bar fare. That meant we were somewhat disappointed, since we had been expecting more of a 'farm-to-table' vibe, based on other reviews. The restaurant was very busy and, as a result, very noisy. Service was very good and prices were reasonable for the food quality and downtown Sarasota location. Overall, the experience was fine, but nothing special, so don't think we'll be rushing back, except maybe to give them another chance when it's less busy.

Lackluster service. Took 45 mins to get an appetizer and service continued to be slow. Ordered a vanilla latte and got watery iced coffee. Zucchini fries were COVERED in salt. Overall disappointing, especially with so many great reviews. We weren't impressed with any of our four meals - best thing was a cinnamon bun. Would not go back or recommend. Tostique across the street redeemed with great coffeee tho!!

LOVE Boca. It's our go-to place. Much more cozy, cool and cheap than its neighbour, this is a great place for couples or bigger parties. Great staff and the food is exquisite. Try it!

Unfortunately my last 2-3 visits here are not what they used to be as far as food quality. Couple of us had food that didn't agree with us. I'm bummed because this used to be one of our “go to” places. Sadly it will be coming off the rotation list.

After waiting almost a half hour for our table with a reservation, service was horrible. Our appetizers come out sporadically and then it took an hour to get our food for which we were then told that what someone in our party ordered was sold out. Our waiter Roberto kept giving us free aqua panna water as an apology. Then he offered a free crème brûlée which wasn't even cooked and was cold. The guests next to us said this place is usually good but that night it was horrible. Very poor management and would not go back.

We sat outside on a nice evening (inside was a bit loud) Ryan, our server was very attentive and helped me with allergy questions. We had the Chimichurri Skirt Steak which was tender and delicious! Will definitely return for another great meal!

Our service was slow. My wife ordered the special which was a grouper pasta dish which she said did not have a lot of flavor so she only ate maybe half of it.
Great food with a flair! I had the sweet potato gnocchi, which was always a favorite of mine. We haven't been to the downtown Sarasota area in a while and we are so thrilled we decided to eat at Boca! Our server, Roberto, was also very knowledgeable and very friendly with a cute sense of humor. Overall 10/10!!! We'll be back soon!!!
