Had the schnitzel. It was as good as I’ve had anywhere, including in Vienna, Prague and Berlin. And the potato salad was very good. The service was adequate, but not welcoming, and the ordering process was not clear for this first-timer.

⭐ Review of Bohemian Delicious Deli – Sarasota, FL 🇨🇿
If you're searching for authentic Czech home-style meals in Sarasota, Bohemian Delicious Deli is a true hidden gem. Owned by a warm and welcoming Czech couple, this cozy deli and bakery brings the flavors of Central Europe straight to Florida.

We drove all the way from Lakeland and were thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. The flavors brought back fond memories of my childhood, growing up with a Czech grandmother. The Beef Goulash and Dumplings were outstanding—perfectly tender meat and a rich, flavorful gravy that stayed true to Czech tradition.

We used to love Czech food and ate it often when we lived in Chicago. It's hard to find down here, so we were excited to try theirs. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 5:30 we were turned away. They said the kitchen was closed. I asked the lady working there what time would we have to arrive in order to be served. She said 4:30! Why operate a restaurant that's open until 6pm if you will only serve customers that arrive by 4:30? Never going to happen and potential regular customers lost.
