my boyfriend and i ate here on our vacation, when we got out of the car there was a male employee in the parking lot who scoffed and rolled his eyes when we approached the door. we get seated and order, our server brings us the condiments for the table. the maple syrup was swarming with ants! we got a new syrup and ate our food. i had said something along the lines of “we’re gonna share everything” in a small talk way because we ordered a lot of food. our server splits the food for us on separate plates i thought that was nice even though i didn’t ask for that, but we got charged a “split plate fee”; it was just us two and we had two entrees and extra sides. that is a ridiculous charge and we were NEVER told about it by the server. we also got charged a credit card fee we had no idea about. overall, not a great experience. the staff seems pretty unaware of themselves.
We were in town visiting and decided to come to the Breakfast House and it did not disappoint! The outdoor seating area is so quaint and nice, and the food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

Our breakfast was great! The prices are reasonable and our waitress even suggested an option that allowed us to try 2 pancakes as part of our meal and saved us a few bucks. It was busy but well worth the wait.

I visited this morning for the first time. The best thing about this restaurant was the hostess. She greeted everyone with a smile and an anecdote. Her enthusiasm for the day and the food were infectious.
My meal was adequate. I ordered the Big Hash Breakfast. The potatoes and the pancakes were really good. The corned beef hash was just ok. The grits were a major disappointment. They were so runny. Please see the picture for reference. The orange chunks in the grits are cheese. The grits were so runny the cheese overpowered it. Overall, I wouldn't go back. There are similar places with better food.

5 stars all the way! Had the specialty blueberry pancakes with lavender lemon ricotta. Delish! Also our server was fantastic and asked us right up front for everything we needed (though she was never out of earshot I think). cute space and great experience! will go back next time I’m in

The lemon lavender stuffed blue berry pancakes and eggs benedict are to die for, our kids loved the plain and chocolate chip pancakes. I highly recommend a visit. It’s a quaint ambiance, we will dine in next time.

We’ve eaten there many times and the food was much better than it was this last time. The eggs Benedict were way over caulked and the hollandaise sauce was not as good as it used to be. The potatoes were large and tasteless. Our food was served cold and the overall experience was not good this time. I hope the owner gets this restaurant back on track…

This was a very pleasant experience all around. We had a 15 minute wait, but I had a chat with a lovely woman taking the reservations. We were seated in a beautiful corner under an umbrella. Ashley was our server and she was a delight. The menu is so extensive it is hard to choose. And the prices are extremely good at about $15 per entrée. I had the big hash breakfast, which was corn, beef, hash, eggs, pancakes, potatoes, and grits. Coffee was extra. I am a coffee snob so I don’t really care for the coffee, but it is typical diner type coffee. The bill came to $133 which included a tip they added on automatically. Please note that when you get the stuff to pay, there is an additional section to add tip. If you do then you end up paying twice for a tip, but I highly recommend this place

My wife, a friend, and I visited The Breakfast House today, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.
I ordered a croissant with eggs and sausage, along with a side of potatoes, eggs, and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly—the croissant was buttery and flaky, the eggs were fluffy, and the sausage had great flavor. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them the perfect complement to the meal.
My wife had pancakes with bacon and coffee, and she couldn’t stop raving about how good they were. The pancakes were thick, fluffy, and delicious on their own, but what really set them apart was the real maple syrup. It had such a rich and natural sweetness that elevated the entire dish. My friend had a waffle with eggs and bacon, and he also really enjoyed his meal. The waffle had a nice crisp on the outside while remaining soft inside, making for a perfect bite every time.
On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though the place was busy, we never felt rushed or ignored.
Overall, this was a five-star experience. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the outdoor seating made the visit even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend The Breakfast House to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast spot!
