I will never be back here. We waited about 35 minutes for appetizers - which they’re busy that’s fine. Mozzarella sticks were awesome. We ordered a total of 72 wings and only got 60. We try to explain we’re just missing two 6 pieces. The bartender or manager I’m not sure comes out there and tries to say we didn’t order these things. She has the check in her hand and we can see that we did order them. She walks away mid conversation as we’re trying to explain. So she says she’s going to bring the wings even though SHE DOESNT BELIEVE that we ordered them. WHEN SHE CAN SEE THE CHECK! We wait 20 minutes and no one ever comes back out. So we go inside to pay and just get it taken off. They think we’re trying to not pay so they comp off all of our wings and we’re like no we just need you to take 12 off. Then they go back in the kitchen pointing at us and laughing. So eventually we paid cash and after we left they still charged our card! That’s theft first of all. Absolutely inexcusable. First time at this place and it was so so horrible.
Edit for owner: It was last night. We arrived around 7:20 and left a little bit after 9. She had blonde hair in a pony tail and was behind the bar. We sat in the middle table outside. 4 adults and 4 kids. I’m attaching the check below with names.

Walked in and nobody acknowledged me at all. I sat down at a table for about 10 minutes and still nobody came to greet, ask if I wanted a drink, offered menus or anything. The tables were dirty and it seemed there was one bartender and no servers. We eventually got up and left. Ridiculous and terrible service. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time. Oh well, I will not be coming back.

First I want to start by saying decent tasting food. Seeing as we only ordered nachos this isn’t really a food review. The vibe is good, everyone looks like they’re having a good time, I would say a great place to stop a grab a beer and some bar food.
Football and Baseball on the TV’s, music playing loud enough but not too loud that you can’t hear your date.

Food is typical bar food but really good. I got the chicken tenders(it was the Thursday special) and a mixed drink which came to $20 plus tip during happy hour. The tenders were large and well worth the price without the included side. I got the Mexican street corn. Both the tenders and the corn were fantastic. I was here for a work conference looking for a good place with reasonable prices a d good food and Brewster's deliver. Will definitely be back next year when we have our next conference and if I'm here before then, I will definitely be stopping by.

Moved to Sarasota a month ago from Denver, and Brewster’s Gastropub was the first bar and restaurant we checked out—and it did not disappoint. Honestly, it blows away the food you’ll find at most sports bars back home. The service has been fantastic every time, and everything I’ve ordered has been consistently delicious.
I’ve already been back about six times. I’ve tried the steak and shrimp tacos on Taco Tuesday, their wings on Wing Wednesday, the house salad, and the carnitas quesadilla. Every single dish has been top-notch. Brewster’s has a great chef and a well-thought-out gastropub menu.
The bartenders have all been super friendly, and I’m already looking forward to watching a ton of football here once the season kicks off. If you’re looking for a great sports bar and restaurant in Sarasota, I highly recommend Brewster’s Gastropub—great food, great people, and a great vibe.

Blatant disrespect from the security staff, kicked out my friend with a disability for his nervous tick. When I asked for a manager he said he was 37 and that he doesn’t need to get someone’s help, what a big boy! Power trip of the century.

We found this place on a Sarasota Best of List, and it did not disappoint. Bartenders were quick with service and helpful. The food was amazing. Our group all ordered something different, and everything was good. We are adding this place to our list of must-stops when we vacation in Siesta Key.

My husband and I went walking through downtown Sarasota and, strolled upon this place and decided to stop in for drinks. There are two entries one seems more geared to dining and the other more for drinks but you could probably dine and eat on either side up until a certain time. They had a decent beer selection but they also do cocktails or shots. We did enjoy the atmosphere and the bartenders were friendly. We are not sure how the food since we didn't order any.
