I lovedddd this experience ! Every dish has something different and amazing flavor and textures. The experience and knowing what to except for each plate was a plus. The chefs came by the table to check on us and to explain more about our plates. It made me feel at home. The drinks are amazing as well! An amazing choice for a romantic date night (:
This restaurant has become our very favorite restaurant in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Patrik always does a wonderful and creative job with the menu. The food is fresh and beautiful. I really can't ask for anything more!!!! We brought our Vegan friend and I thought she would be a challenge for Patrik. She wasn't. He created a separate Vegan menu to serve with each and every one of our courses and her dishes were all wonderful, too! You really can't get any better than this! The staff is all friendly and they explain every dish that they bring. Justin does a great job with the wine - whether you want to do the pairings or just get a glass of wine. I look forward to Jessica's deserts - she always creates something special. I can't wait for our next visit!
Loved this place. Food is really tasty and I don't generally enjoy a tasting menu but I found this one be very satisfying. We had the 5 course and both agreed that when we go back we'll probably try the 9 course. Really well delivered as our server allowed for just the right amount of time in between course and did a great job explaining each if the dishes ingredients. A Chef even stopped over to our table and introduced himself which I thought was very thoughtful and added to our experience. I would not say this is fine dining but it's really nice to have quality good in a more relaxed atmosphere than fine dining. We did dress up and I'm glad we did because I think that adds to the experience making it more of a celebration and special event than just going out to eat. We had an excellent bottle of wine. We'll be back for sure. ?
Well, it was more of a wine tasting events with small plates to compliment those wines. Portions were very small, but presentation, creativity and taste were spectacular. The most amazing food experience we had in a while. Can't wait to be back
In an unexpected location next to the airport at a boutique hotel, this is a unique foodie experience. We were the only dinner guests on a Friday night. The restaurant has some unique decor you'll just have to see. The food? Impecable. We had the seven course meal featuring carefully crafted dishes from sea to land. Beautifully paired with California, French and South African wines, each dish was perfectly portioned, tasty and delightful. A definite must try in Sarasota
What a wonderful and unexpected treat to have a delicious gourmet meal with wine pairing available in my hotel after a stressful day ! I had the three course summer meal with wine pairing. It was excellent. Perfect size portions for me (not huge) and the wines went super well with the courses. Prices were reasonable considering the quality. The service was excellent, server was knowledgeable in describing the selections and courses came promptly. Single diner handled well. A fun foodie experience!
WOW. Patrik is an outstanding chef with an amazing touch and understanding of flavor and balance. Each dish was spot on with perfect acid, salt, texture, and complexity. His presentation elevated the dinner to a superior experience.
Enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend. Surprised by the sparse kitchen set up. Really liked the flavors, innovative ingredients and techniques- but disappointed in the steak course. Seemed they just cut a strip in 4 pieces and served it. All of the other courses were tremendous- especially the Skagen toast and scallop. It was just this one course(beef) that left me scratching my head. I hope it makes it enjoyed the thought that went into the menu and the pairings.
Patrik is always surprising us with new dishes that are fantastic! I don't know how he comes up with such creative use of flavors, textures, hot and cold while making everything look so nice! We were pleased to see that there were other diners who also appreciated this hidden gem! Justin - once again - came up with new wines that we'd never heard of before that pared wonderfully with each dish. The service is always impeccable - you aren't rushed - but feel that your food comes out as you are ready for the next course. Patrik, himself, as well as Justin serve many of the courses and explain what he has created that you are about to eat. I've eaten more items I didn't think I would like that are absolutely wondeful. Justin's wife, Jessica, tops off the evening with several mouth watering deserts. Can't wait to see what our next visit brings!!!

Memorable first-time experience. Chef Pettersson is a Michelin-caliber artist who presents a visually stunning plate laden with new and exciting flavors, and textures. We eagerly await a return to the quiet and strikingly modern (Swedish?) atmosphere of Kompose and the competent and cheery servers. Bravo Chef Patrik and brava to the wait staff. Tack!

Creative, delicious and healthy food prepared by a talented chef in a minimalist kitchen. It's a fun experience and the food is amazing! The owner of the restaurant and staff always make you feel welcome and provide excellent service.
Food and service was amazing. I tried the restaurant week menu and was not disappointed.The highlight by far was the Panna Cotta and Chef surprised me with a dollop of caviar. I also chose the wine pairing and was delighted with the choices.
What can I say that I haven't already said? The restaurant has become our favorite restaurant in Florida. The food is always exceptional and Patrik takes great care with every plate that comes out of his kitchen. Not only are they a joy to behold, they are always freah and delicious! I don't know what inspires him but I am happy that we are the recepients of his creations. As I have said before, I can't understand how the foodies aren't standing in line!!! Justin complements Patrik's creations with wonderful wines from vineyards we've never heard of but really enjoy. Justin's wife, Jessica, makes sure that the evening ends with a little something sweet that makes me want to come back. They also made our anniversary celebration a night to remember!
