We did not expect the noise level inside the restaurant. We had a table for 4 and had a hard time hearing each other. The food was good, but my chicken in their Chicken Amici pasta dish was overcooked and tough. The others at our table said their meals were good. Service was very slow with our waiter disappearing for long periods at a time. We finally had to get the owner to help us find him. As to pricing, this us an expensive restaurant.

Always love dining here for the food and knowledgeable waitstaff. This visit was disappointing because our waitress acted like she had never served a table before! Also, there was a large party and the noise level was off the charts! Acoustics are not good here so if you want a quiet dinner, go somewhere else. Food is top notch tho!

Food was ok but Not Special as we expected. Table in the side room felt like a storage room waitress was nice and service was good but don't think I will go back.

The server was so bad. Apparently he didn't feel the need to welcome us or tell us the specials until we asked! Impossible to have a conversation without yelling. Celebrating a special evening was completely ruined by the poor service.

Has the most amazing tortellini dish and the other people in my party also loved their choices. Seriously, order the tortellini in vodka sauce.

Over rated. Food was average at best. There are many better options available in Sarasota.

Cafe Amici was a great experience for my husband and I. Our food was delicious and plentiful, Celeste, our server was a delight and the outdoor seating was perfect on a beautiful evening.

The food is delicious and portions are more than adequate. Apps can easily be shared. However the service leaves much to be desired. A restaurant at this price point should have better trained wait staff. Our server reached across every one when serving and clearing plates. He was less than pleasant and appeared annoyed when we did not order drinks for all at our table.

Cafe Amici is a hidden gem! Not only is the food incredible, the staff and owners make you feel like family. Everything about this place is great. This is a must try in Sarasota.

TERRIBLE! DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE NEVER!

Terrible food, horrible service, and ridiculous price!

We are always in different restaurants, and we know when a food is good, and this one was horrible! ?‍?

My steak tasted like fish, they fried fish in the same place, have you ever heard of cross-contamination? People allergic to fish could die in one of these. Besides, my steak was looking like it was fried hours ago, unadmissible!

The salad, my partner's food, everything was horrible, especially for the price, charging a high amount for this type of food is a joke.

The waiter was a rude and made a terrible service.

Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Sarasota!!The food is outstanding and service is top notch. The Stuffed Pepper and Short Rib pasta special is delicious and definitely a must try. The ambiance is excellent, and I absolutely love the unique cork decor on the ceiling.

We had a date night here, we ordered calamari for appetizer. Could have been fried more golden. I had a short rib ragu over rigatoni and a tortellini in vodka sauce. Both very good. Ending the dinner with a tiramisu and 2 espressos. With 4 glasses of wine the bill was $186 without tip. Alittle pricey for pasta. The service was alittle overbearing for the restaurant not being too crowded. Not sure if we’ll return.
