The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and our Server was terrific. He explained the specials and answered questions. We enjoyed drinks and a poached pear salad which was amazing. Husband ordered the eggplant dish and really enjoyed. I was between ordering a few things on the menu and asked our Server about the veal Parmesan. The menu said it was pounded thin veal chop either bone in or out. Our Server highly recommended this so I ordered it. Served with a steak knife, I found the veal to be so tough and chewy I could only eat about 5 bites. Gave a piece to husband and he agreed. This was not pounded properly to make it tender. This was a real disappointment . The last time we ate here we only had good things to say. I'm sorry to write this review. We took our leftovers home, but I tossed mine.

Celebrated our delayed NYE dinner here last night. Brono was our server and did a great job. Appetizers and entrees were delicious.

First we had children soliciting us for money at our table on the outdoor seating. Took about 10 minutes to submit a drink order. No refills brought or requested for drinks/alcohol. Slow service. Food was good. Celebrating 3 separate 50 year old birthdays. Very different experience from our last trip. I was extremely excited about eating here for dinner. If I come back and have similar experience- I will never be back again

We always eat weekly at Gabbiano's during our three week stay in Siesta Key and have never been disappointed. Last night's Eggplant and Veal Parmesan dishes were both excellent. We were seated in the recently remodeled front dining area and loved the new look and the well spaced tables.

We had a wonderful waiter named Robbie who gave us great suggestions when we asked for them and gave us plenty of time to decide with no rush! He made the birthday dessert extra special too!

I loved the veal scallopini Mama Lucia and I think my husband enjoyed his breaded chicken dish. Generous portions and so we will be enjoying the meal again with our leftovers. We also liked the bottle of house Chianti and Tiramisu which we shared. The service was good - I was really surprised how fast the food arrived. We sat in the new room which used to be more of a porch. The room was packed and very noisy. I much prefer the older rooms inside the restaurant.

Cafe Gabianno's food and servers never disappoint. They have a very nice happy hour and the bartenders are so friendly. Small bar (6 -7 seats) so get there at the start of happy hour. Chris the manager is present and engaging making sure you are having a great dining experience. The Veal mama Lucia dish is amazing and the Lemoncello Tortufo and Tiramisu are must have desserts. For a more intimate dining experience ask to be seated in the back wine cellar room. Thumbs up!!!

Food was outstanding as usual. The server we had kept trying to upsell us. She also didn't tell us the specials until asked and also skipped the appetizer special. We wanted to share a salad but she mentioned just getting two smalls. We took her recommendation and looked at the bill later and she charged us 22 dollars for it. The one we ordered was 16. We will go back but refuse her as our server.

Our dinner at Gabbiano's was amazing! Great food. Great service! First time to Siesta Key. Gabbiano's was recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. First night was so wonderful with our waiter Ricco, we went a second night! Had Ricco and the same table in the wine cellar room both times. Wine selection was amazing. Food was excellent. Ricco made excellent meal suggestions. We will definitely return on future trips to Siesta Key.
