My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with Cafe L'Europe and were very impressed with our experience. The mussels were fantastic and our entrees, Duck & Veal! Marianna, our server, was amazing! She was kind, personable, and very hospitable- we would take her again in a heart beat! We loved the atmosphere, we sat in the bar area. We were even given a complimentary crème brûlée with " Happy Anniversary" written on the plate! We loved our evening here and can't wait to come back!

Too loud. Speaker right on counter next my husband who wears hearing aids. Had to ask for lemon 3 times before i got it. Had to serve my own bottle of wine near the end which was in a bucket few feet away near another table.

A perpetual favorite for food, service and ambiance. Now under new management/owners with same great food and service. Love the shrimp and lobster salad and the tuna Nicoise. Homemade salad dressings, especially blue cheese are extraordinary! Servers Alice and Manny are terrific ... Manny was amazing on this visit.

Cafe L'Europe is always special. This is one of the very best restaurants on the Suncoast. Quality of food and service is impeccable. Recent renovations to the dining room and the new bar area are breathtakingly beautiful.
Another great meal. Had the fillet with Bordelaise jus, roasted fingerling, potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Top it off with a piece of Keylime pie and a vanilla latte and your evening is perfect.

Haven't been to this restaurant in some time. Glad we went. It was delightful and delicious. The service was outstanding and it was a truly enjoyable evening. We were not rushed and that was nice. I recommend a meal here.
This was my first visit to our favorite restaurant after the loss of my husband. The staff was so gracious and understanding and supportive. As always, the food was exquisite and service exemplary. Mariana did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable during a difficult time. I am forever grateful to all of you, who helped me to take the step forward. I will continue to return and enjoy your excellent meals.
This was our second time dining with friends at the Cafe. All of the dishes the four of us ordered were fantastic. The staff at the restaurant are very knowledgeable and were able to guide us.

We went out to a very nice Italian restaurant in Sarasota , the cafe el Europe to have lunch , now we knew that it would be more expensive just because of where it was located, but it has really good reviews and it has an authentic atmosphere to it.We had a fabulous lunch. We both got an appetizer , followed by an entrée each . We split a nice bottle of Italian wine , then hubby got crème brûlée for dessert. I had a cappuccino. Excellent food , excellent service and excellent atmosphere.Then we received the bill, $300 before the tip ?. Now normally I do not investigate the receipt , but this time I did , and guess what , another table was added onto our receipt. I am just curious for those who are in the hospitality /restaurant service. How can that happen, Given today’s technology? We brought it to our waiters attention, and he took care of it. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

We went for my Wife's Birthday dinner & from entry to exit they were great, & accommodating: as a Gorgeous evening we sat on the railing overlooking the Circle & the bustling passers-by w/ a hint of a sunset in the distance. We had drinks & apps (don't miss the Escargot nor Goat cheese-apple salad), & then 2 mains of SeaBass & the table-side prepared Dover Sole, both large portions & delicious! Finished up w/ Espresso martini's & they brought (gratis) a plated Key Lime pie w/ a candle - a perfect nightcap. Highly recommend & worth every penny!
It was our 30th Anniversary and the night was perfect. We started in the bar, which is newly remodeled and beautiful, then moved to a table with a view of StArmands Circle. George our waiter gave excellent recommendations and explained the dishes so you wanted it all. Lamb Chops was my choice and I was not disappointed.

Cafe Europe is a gem. The new modern bar area compliments the old world charm seamlessly. We dined on high quality food with an outstanding service. MariaAnna was warm, inviting, attentive and was added value to an overall wonderful evening. Money well spent at this tried and true establishment. Bravo!
