We had an awesome experience with Cakes by Ron! We got married at the Resort at Longboat Key Club and so they highly recommended CBR and they did not disappoint! I am also gluten free and they were able to easily accommodate and make our cake gluten free, not to mention it tasted amazing!

The crowd went mad over the cupcakes and couldn't stop talking about them. The cake was not only scrumptious but stunning to look at. We chose a lovely beach theme cake that was amazing. We ordered our wedding cake from Cakes by Ron and were really happy with the flavors, they were absolutely delicious and exactly what we were hoping for. However, we were disappointed with how the filling was done. It wasn’t distributed evenly, and there was almost no filling on the edges. We also expected each tier to have at least two layers of filling, but each tier only had one.
For the price point, two layers of filling per tier should really be the minimum. While the taste was wonderful, the structure and value fell short of expectations.

Our cake was delivered right on time and looked absolutely stunning. Cakes by Ron coordinated seamlessly with our florist, and the final result was truly beautiful. Thank you for the delicious cake—we’re still enjoying the leftovers and loving every bite! Highly recommend!

Designs look great! Cupcakes are very very lacklustre. We tried 8 cupcakes and all of them were just bad or taste like nothingness. Publix has better cupcakes imo. I hope their cakes in general are better. Friendly staff though.

Lived in the area for six years. Drive by Cakes by Ron on the daily. Finally dipped in today and picked up a sampling of cupcakes. Why did we wait so long?!?!
Now I'm going to have to eat twice as many to make up for lost time. Do yourself a favor, don't drive by, stop in and buy some. Piece of advice - make sure to buy enough for everyone or else fists may fly. These little delectables could break up families, end friendships, and tear true love apart. Also I may be on a sugar high.
