Beautiful new taproom with great food options. Happy with the move. Ample parking and spots for sitting down. Beer here is some of the best I've ever had. Friendly staff, will miss the cats though.

Fantastic selection of beer.

Calusa’s idea of a good beer selection is strictly hazy ipa’s, a few dark beers and seltzer. The food in there is mediocre and really expensive.

A wide selection of brews, ciders, and other drinks. The beer has a real diversity of flavor. At some breweries, every beer tastes the same. That really isn't the case here. The sours and ciders are pretty sweet, but really taste like the fruit that's described. I'd highly recommend the strawberry lemonade sour and the "pass a good time" fruit beer.

Not a big beer drinker at all. Mostly a light beer when sipping bourbon. So most craft breweries don't appeal to me. Until I tried Bait Shop today. Good stuff. Definitely will return.

Interesting place. Food ok. Has potential as a bar, but not there yet.

I will start with the one negative so the review rounds out. This place is in a spot where you won't believe your GPS and likely drive past it. I did. It looks more like an industrial warehouse than a brewery and there are not a lot of clues it is a brewery outside of the "gardeny" eating space outside. To the good side? Once you get into the building and out of the parking lot, the small taproom is very warm and cozy. Great wooden bar and a handful of tables. The beer? I did not find one I disliked. My friend and I bought a couple of 4s and split them so we could have a variety, along with some of the bottled one offs. The food? They don't have any themselves, but apparently attract some really good food trucks. I will review the Clean Plate Club, who was there that day, but have included a picture of the Birria Panini they had on special that day. Yes, I will return when I visit again.

This was our favorite brewery in the Sarasota area. Four of us went for the first time in February. We loved the space, the staff, and the beers were exceptional. We also tried some of the food from PigFish - it was also wonderful. As my daughter was placing the food order, she noticed their cookies and bought one. It was to die for and I vowed to go back for more! She flew home to Minnesota. My husband and I returned for beer & cookies the day before we also had to return to MN. We got our beer but unfortunately PigFish didn’t open until 4pm so I was out of luck for the cookie. I explained my dilemma to our bartender (I believe his name was Cody?). It was my last chance for a cookie before returning to MN. The cookies are honestly that good, that I needed one more before returning home! He probably thought I was nuts, but somehow he got me a cookie a little early. He went over and above to do that for me. He was so kind and so much fun. We left with an even greater opinion of the place and we can’t wait to return next year when we’re back in Sarasota. Again, great beer, great food, and an even greater staff - try it!

Decent beers but the taco Tuesday was pricey! The nachos were much too salty, hope it was just someone with a heavy hand.

The service was great and so was the beer.

nice ambiance and good quality food & beer Prices on food was a little high but quality ingredients used (ie free range chicken, grass fed beef, etc). i truly enjoyed the jazz band and will go back whenever band plays.

Stopped here twice while on a bike ride along the Legacy Trail. Great atmosphere, beer, food, and service. Will definitely be back next time we're in the neighborhood.

Some of the best craft beer I've had. Their hazy IPA Zote is fabulous. Really nice location. Huge fan of Calusa.
