A nice dining experience, and we arrived for an early dinner with the lunch prices available till 4 pm. We ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos bowl and the grouper & shrimp basket. Both meals were excellent! Wonderful service from Helen and we highly recommend this restaurant.
I sat at the bar and ordered a martini. The server deferred to someone else to make my drink and she did a really good job. I tried the Clams on the half shell, Mussels and Seabass. The Clams were very fresh, Mussels were a bit bland and the Seabass was excellent and the portion was huge. The restaurant had several northeastern, particularly Long Island, menu items, such as Flounder and Steamers. The special list was impressive. I will be back.
First time in Sarasota. After hours of airport delays, lost baggage, and nothing but airplane snacks, we were looking for a casual place with some fresh fish and nice beverages. Captain Brian’s didn’t disappoint. Evelyn took care of us. She made some yummy recommendations that didn’t disappoint. There were so many options we will be back soon!
