I’m from New England and they have the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Totally worth the visit. They often have live music and it’s very clean and the staff is great.

This place is not at all what it used to be 10, 20 or 30 years ago. Don't waste your hard-earned dollars on these people at all! Average food, poor service, high prices and rude waitresses! I have lived here for over 50 years and I would never ever come back here again! So much for my old fond memories of this place. There are plenty of other good places to go on Siesta Key rather than this place. Better yet, pop off the key and you'll save a lot of money and get much better food & service! This place used to be known for its food....Now it is just a place for a bunch of drunks and drinkers! I do not recommend this place at all! Good luck if you are looking for decent food!

First of all, GO BUCKEYES! The food was good. The meal we got had Fried fish, shrimp and crab cake. The fish was ok, the shrimp and crab cake were better. Lots of fries that could have been crispier. Oh, the coleslaw was good. Not many places have good Coleslaw. Waitress was great. Friends got the clam chowder which is why we went there. He loved it and bought some to take home.

Nice place but I expected something more. Maybe at night it is more picturesque. The food good. Fish and chips, lots of potatoes and not so much fish. The kids menu was correct. Very good service. The super attentive girl.

Best chowder anywhere. The rest of the menu is quite typical and island $$$. But atmosphere says - vacation.

Went to Captain Curt's for lunch on my 30th birthday we had a wonderful experience thanks to our server Samantha and the manager Frank! Me and my family want to thank both of them so much for making my birthday lunch a success! The food here is phenomenal the ambience is so cute and to to top it all off there was live music when we went. Again thank you so much Frank and Samantha!!

Great food and atmosphere with great service. Only reason for four stars on the food is the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes a bummer when you’re ordering a nice meal like crab legs and the potatoes are instant. Other than that we normally eat here at least twice when we vacation in Siesta. Must try the File fish it’s excellent and the crab legs, so good! The cheese curds and pretzel bites also a must!

The karaoke ? at night is really good and very good service. The food was good, but nothing so special or amazing. Little pricey for that.

It’s really weird that I wrote a bad review but I need to be honest with you and myself, food was no good, flavor and presentation. I ordered the famous clams chowder and was totally salty then I tried with the grouper fish sandwich and none flavor at all the tomato was dry and lettuce looks like fake. Besides all this experience with the food the waitress was mean and not nice at all. So a really bad experience.

Truly the best clam chowder!! The dinner were good and the appetizers were great. After all the apps and chowder, I had to share a meal with a friend and we still couldn’t finish. Definitely didn’t leave hungry. Atmosphere is pretty underwhelming and not a place I’d want to go and hang out at the bar for fun. Our server was amazing!
