The night was a special one. I had called ahead and asked for consideration about a certain table and bottle of wine. The Manager was so very helpful. The food, staff and service was the perfect accompaniment to this special night.

Cassariano is always consistent. We have had a number of different servers (last night it was Kaiser), but whoever has looked after us has always done a great job - there when we wanted them, and in the background when we didn't. The menu is great and every dish that we've eaten there has been cooked to perfection.

For years, we have been loyal patrons of Cassariano, visiting often since the doors first opened. However, after enjoying a wonderful meal last night, I discovered—tucked away in small print at the bottom of our bill—a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. There was no prior mention of this fee from the staff, nor was it indicated on the menu. While I appreciate the challenges of running a restaurant and the need for increased revenue, this covert approach left a sour note...
