As always , the food was excellent, service was exceptional, and the portions of food are much better than most restaurants in town! I always recommend Clayton's to friends and family.

Enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner very much. The steak and lobster special and wedge salad were delicious! Friendly staff, great atmosphere.

We were armed with our Valentine's Day reservation and glad we were. Clayton's was jumping. We chose from the Valentine's Sat menu and thoroughly enjoyed the lobster and clam linguini. It was served fast and hot. Topped it off with the chocolate ganache cake and it was a meal. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and hm gave us great service.

I came for Valentine's Day dinner and between the service, food and ambiance it was perfect. The service was super responsive and the chefs specialties really form a unique dining experience you wouldn't find anywhere else in the area.

Food and waitstaff were great. Noise level was simply too loud and took away from the experience

Whenever we are on the key, Clayton's is always a must. We love the food and the outstanding service. Will probably visit several more times before we leave.

*The reservation system worked well and we were seated promptly. *The waitress was very kind and professional, but clearly was overloaded with other tables and admitted as much. *$50 dollars for halibut was extreme. My fault for not realizing that was the price. *The worst part of the night was being startled three times by a guy shouting at the top of his lungs--once in my ear--about birthdays in the dining room. When you spend $400 on a dinner, you don't expect it to have the sophistication of TGI Fridays.

A must stop for me anytime I'm in Siesta Key. The scallops are so delicious. The halibut was very good. Service was excellent.

Had an excellent meal, coconut shrimp and tacos. Server was very friendly and helpful. Noise level was on the high side. Will go back again.

Always a great meal, service is excellent, lively atmosphere, good, fun vibe. We ordered a draft beer and an amazing espresso martini, the catch of the day, halibut, and short rib entree. Both were excellent.

We didn't have a good experience at Clayton's a year ago after years of wonderful meals there but decided to go back this year and give it another chance. Our meal was better this year than last year but it still wasn't back to the quality of when Clayton himself owned the restaurant. We felt this year that overall it was a little better than average.

Very crowded and loud place. Maitre d was bored slow and not the friendly sort. Although had reservation he wanted to be placed in outside venue, open booths that we saw but they had not been cleaned. I told him my name and time of reservation then after being seated he came back to request that information again. Obviously very interested in my discussion as that was all of 5 mins. The food was ok but not stellar. The rest was fine.

We went there for our birthdays and our birthdays were acknowledged when we checked in but we were disappointed that sharing a dessert was not offered The wait staff seemed rushed and we had 3 different servers We were over billed for wine and were told it would be taken off but wasn't and we had to ask again It could have been a better experience

We had not been there for a few years and we had guests with us so we were holding our breath. However, the service and food were wonderful and exceeded our expectation. We very highly recommend this restaurant.

We went on New Year's Eve with a reservation and were seated promptly in a packed house. The service was A+++. Water glasses never went unattended. The orders were accurate and came quickly. The drinks were good. The seafood chowder was out of this world, and I strongly recommend it. The food was delicious and the owner stopped by to make sure everything was OK. What more could you ask for? An amazing experience, a memorable evening.
