This place is quite interesting. It is in a very busy upscale location, however the service is very casual, almost like beach side cafe. The food very basic and not interesting at all. For me the dinner was all about the live music. The solo-performer was amazing. I think, without the music, this place has nothing much to offer!!

After spending a relaxing morning at Lido Key Beach, we walked over to Cha Cha Coconut for lunch. The weather was perfect, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the laid-back island vibe.

We started with the Coquina Beach Fruit Cobbler—a refreshing mix of strawberry purĂ©e, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and a splash of soda. Light, fruity, and just right for a warm afternoon.

For food, we ordered the grouper bites as an appetizer, which were nicely done and flavorful. For entrĂ©es, we tried Emily’s Soca Coconut Shrimp, served with island fries, coleslaw, and a spicy coconut mustard sauce—crispy, well-balanced, and very enjoyable. We also ordered the Cha Cha-Cheesy Quesadilla, which was comforting and satisfying.

One thing worth highlighting: I’m sensitive to seafood smell, and they did an excellent job here—no “fishy” or overpowering odor at all, which made the entire meal much more enjoyable.

Parking tip: Parking around St. Armands Circle can be hard to find and is mostly paid. If you’re okay with a short walk, there’s plenty of parking available at Lido Key Beach, which is about a 15-minute walk from the restaurant.

Overall, everything we had was tasty, well prepared, and enjoyable. A great spot for a relaxed lunch after the beach, especially if you enjoy fresh flavors in an easygoing outdoor setting.

We have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years and always had good service, good food and no problem with bill. This year however, I applied my veterans discount after the initial bill was provided to be told no issue. However both payments were taken. My veterans discount not applied and I am still waiting to receive my refund. The bank says it is pending. I was promised by the manager at Cha Cha Coconuts St Armand, it would be shown but rectified within a couple of days. That is now a month ago. Not Happy.

Having been contacted by ChaCha Coconuts management, neither the email or the contact page are working. So how can I obtain a resolution?

It's one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure to dine. We tried Gumbo, pineapple boat and lobster roll, each dish was amazing and everyone loved it(including kids). Atmost mention to our hostess Gracie who went above and beyond to cater all our whims, her service was truly exceptional and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting this wonderful restaurant.

My family went here on Christmas Day 2025. We were warmly greeted and sat at one of Heidi's tables. She is absolutely wonderful. I wore a Mele Kalikimaka santa hat and Heidi immediately connected with me on that with both of our history with Hawaii. It was nice to be treated with such wonderful Aloha spirit and kindness. My family was impressed with Cha Cha Coconuts and we were also obsessed with the delicious food. I highly recommend you check out Cha Cha Coconuts for not only the delicious food and tasty drinks but also the wonderful customer service. Try and sit in Heidi's section if you can, you will not be disappointed!
