O.k. so I stopped by yesterday after work to get my usual 3 funnel cake fries and the last said they were out, do to there delivery truck breaking down. So then I thought I would stop in this afternoon to get them and the whole menu is gone it was closed and there were closed signs in their windows. So I'm thinking they're done. to bad because that place could have been a gold mine if they would have taken ownership of the place and cleaned it up. I could never unstained how they even stayed open this long. Cause every time I went by there it looked closed. the out side lights were never on and it seemed the employees were milking the clock and hiding from customers. The hourly employees definitely ran the place. R.I.P. Checkers you could of made it, if you would of had good manegment...

I was the only walkup customer at the time yet i was still rushed through my order and waited for my order and ate my goals at the outside tables but I had to clean a spot as they were dirty and left sticky stains on my clothes. I had asked while I ordering to let the fries and fish cook a little extra crispy and ended up with soggy limp food.

This place needs to go out of business. One of the worst experiences of any fast food place I've been to and that's saying something.Service was super slow. The food looked like it had been run over by a truck. Employees were dressed like they were fresh out of bed. No uniforms. Pathetic.

This location is in downtown Sarasota. It’s kind of a run down location. The drive thru has a wood shelf on the outside and overall looks a little funky. The food is still classic checkers but the last time I went through the drive thru they had an “ai type” of ordering assistant on the speaker. You just say what you want and it does a pretty good job of picking up what you say. They still have live people you can order with and they listen in to the order assistant in case you need help. The food was hot and tasted good.

From a distance, this was the most beautiful Checkers location I had ever seen. Closer up, you can see every single door is broken and has a sign asking you to use the next door, which is also broken..... it's like a paradox. Interior soda fountain was broken, as well.Food was pretty good, but the employee that served me was full of attitude and would hardly give me the time of day. As far as I can tell, food wasn't spit on.2/10 for service. 8/10 for food. My Mr. Pibb soda tasted tainted, though.Interesting atmosphere.....see photo attached.Parking is only for ultra-subcompacts, very small spaces.....you really have to park at the Christian Science church next door or the Masonic Lodge out back.Parking: Very small spots. Better parking at Church of Science next door.
