Everything was honestly great EXCEPT for the female bartender. She was not at the bar for a solid 10-15 min while my family as well as other couples were trying to order drinks before their movie and others were trying to cash out to get to their movie on time. The front attendant was the only person in sight so collectively we all asked where the bartender was after waiting and looking around for 10-15 min. When this woman finally shows up from the back room, she is on her phone, doesn’t acknowledge ANY of us at the bar and looks at me and my family and rudely asks “what do you want?” Like we are an inconvenience to her…As a former bartender and waitress myself I was honestly very taken aback by her tone and attitude but IT GETS WORSE. So I order a pineapple specialty drink on the menu and it comes out only half full. Now having bartender knowledge and experience I knew this drink was going to be too strong. I tasted it and sure enough it tasted like straight alcohol. So I politely asked the bartender, “Hey is this how this drink is supposed to come out normally?” SHE ROLLED HER EYES and goes “yeah sweetie” I said “well can I have more pineapple juice because I honestly don’t care for it how you made it” she says “oh so you want to ruin the drink? By doing that you’ll ruin the drink” now at this point I’m angry because not only was she condescending and calling me “sweetie” but again as a former bartender and waitress myself; YOU NEVER ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER!!! I then said that to her out loud because she was still arguing with me as she angrily poured out the rest of the pineapple juice into my glass. She says then “the customer has never been right since COVID” and she kept arguing with me and yelling across the bar!? She was the most horrible service worker I have EVER encountered. I doubt anything will be done about her attitude or presence but I truly hope no one has to deal with this horrible aggressive woman. She should not be in such a personable position or even industry!! And not for nothing but this is actually the SECOND bad experience I’ve had with this bar. It’s a shame…

By far the best experience I have ever had at a movie theater! They took our order and delivered food and drinks from a great menu right before the show started. What an experience!!

Yesterday, 4/2/2024, I walked up to the concession stand a few minutes before my showtime and I was met with the most hostile server I've ever come across. He looked annoyed to see me standing at the concession counter and when he got behind the counter he didn't smile or even greet me. He just asked, "what are you watching?" I said I just wanted a cup of water and again he asked, and sounded very annoyed with me, "what are you watching?" I said "Dune" and he said "you have servers in there, you can order with them." So rude. I told him no, thanks; I just wanted a cup of hot water to sip on. He let out a big sigh, rolled his eyes and dragged his feet. When he came back with the water he said "I am charging you for hot tea." ????I explained that there was no tea, only water. The server explained that his managers told him he has to charge for tea even if you bring your own tea bag." So then I had to explain that I didn't have a tea bag, I only wanted the water to be hot. And finally he handed it over to me although very reluctantly. The whole encounter was extremely hostile and I felt unwelcome as a result. I could feel him making faces behind my back as I turned around and since my theater was right across from concession, the servers saw and heard the whole thing from the entrance.The two servers were snickering at each other and making faces and once I reached them one said "Would you like a menu? I see you already got something there." And he said it so sarcastically.This is really not my idea of luxury service and it's a shame that server treated me like a second class citizen all because of a cup of hot water. He was very unkind and makes me weary of interacting with service staff at Cinebistro.

Arrived 45 minutes early on date night and our waitress didn't try to serve us until 30 minutes of waiting.. The movie theater wasn't full nor busy and she was serving guests that arrived after us.Even when we first arrived at the theater the girl checking us in had an attitude while I was pulling up the movie tickets on my phone.The whole thing made my wife and I feel unwanted. They also already add their tip on the bill without letting you know.

Great concept for a theater I will say, restaurant dishes being served to you as well as drinks. This theater is about 5 minutes from my house so I do come often.The food isn't that great, I'd only suggest the popcorn and truffle fries.I rarely have issues with places since I tend to keep to myself. Except last week my boyfriend flew in and we went to go see the new Kung Fu Panda 4 and the blonde girl at the front desk had the worst attitude. Not sure if it was because it was busy or what, but her tone made me super uncomfortable, and she rolled her eyes while I was opening my email to show the tickets that took maybe 30 seconds to pull up. The manager was no better since he was standing right next to her not saying a word, rather allowing the attitude.Plus while me and my boyfriend were in the bar area getting a drink, we saw her basically yelling at a 2/3 year old boy demanding his age rather than talking to the parents standing right beside him.Don't think I'd come back. Would rather drive another 10 minutes to go to another theater than deal with the attitude. Staff and manager needs to be retrained on what customer service is.

Pricey, but fun! They've made updates since we were last there (new flooring and personal touch lights at each seat). Reclining seats are comfy and excellent food service whether you visit the concession stand or are served at your seat. Food is good, with a big selection from a full meal to snacks.

My recent visit to Cinébistro in Sarasota left much to be desired, and I couldn't wait to share my disappointing experience.Accompanied by my wife and sister-in-law, we attended a movie screening, hoping for a pleasant evening of entertainment. While the movie itself was enjoyable, the same cannot be said for the overall experience at the theater.Let's start with the drinks – weak and overpriced, they were a far cry from what I remembered from previous visits. The inconsistency in quality was striking, and it was disappointing to see such a decline in standards.As for the food, it was another letdown. The items we ordered lacked flavor and were poorly assembled, failing to live up to our expectations. It was evident that attention to detail and culinary expertise were sorely lacking in the kitchen.The seating situation was equally disappointing. Many of the seats appeared to be poorly maintained, emitting odd noises with every adjustment. This not only detracted from the viewing experience but also raised concerns about the overall upkeep of the theater.However, the most egregious issue arose during a trip to the men's room. It became apparent that Cinébistro has a serious mold problem, particularly around the sinks. The unsanitary conditions were downright disgusting, and it was alarming to see such blatant disregard for hygiene and cleanliness.Overall, my experience at Cinébistro was a far cry from what I had hoped for. The decline in quality across multiple aspects of the theater – from drinks and food to seating and hygiene – was undeniable. Moving forward, my wife, sister-in-law, and I have decided to keep our dining and movie experiences separate, opting for dinner at a restaurant before heading elsewhere for entertainment. Until Cinébistro addresses these glaring issues and restores its former standards, we'll be taking our movie nights elsewhere.
