I just wanted to say that I accidentally stumbled upon this place at the right time. Their happy hour is amazing, birria tacos & consume was on point and trust me I’ll say if birria sucks, bc some places don’t do it right. Nicolette was an amazing bartender/server, her personality is amazing and she just did everything right. I will happily go back here whenever I’m in Sarasota, and it’s because of her. Food 10/10, drinks 9/10, service 500/10.

One taco was very dry and the other one was insanely spicy. The queso used to be better as well. Used to love their tacos. Server was very nice though. I could only eat like 1 bite of each taco. Left feeling pretty disappointed

Well, they were rude because I have a disability requiring a service animal, clearly and properly indicated on his service harness. The person said we can eat outside in 50' breezy evening. I tried to explain ADA, but she didn't care, abs rather short with me. I'm to frustrated to deal with them and report them for not adhering to ADA. Forget this place.

Don't believe the reviews. We went there last night as it was only a 3 block walk to Florida Studio Theater. The menu you see on line is not what they have. Only choices are a few apps and toco's. When we walked in it was loud rap music (thought it was a Mexican restaurant). Waitress said that's what we play here when we asked if it could be toned down. When we tried to order they were out of salsa and guacamole for the apps (very strange for a supposed Mexican restaurant). Tacos were OK but that was pretty much the only choice available. Should have known something was strange when we came in at 5:30 and were the only ones there and still the only ones there when we left at 6:30 to go to the theater.

Definitely not what it use to be. Menu has been revised, barely any options. What items remain on the menu have ingredients that have been altered or swapped like the Gringo for example. Quality of food has also declined since my previous visits. Website had several different new items listed that when inquired about I was informed they did not have said items. Sad what once was one of my favorite weekly spots has turned into.

Everyone seem to enjoy their tacos. I had to order a salad with shrimp. The salad was tiny with very few small shrimp on it and it was $15. That was highly disappointing. The atmosphere was okay, but the music they were playing included foul language and we had two small children with us. Wait staff was excellent in our food came out very quickly.
Service was amazing and food came out within minutes. I mean like five minutes of ordering. The food was delicious and the portions are large. Order less than you think because they are very big. Highly recommend.
This place is going down hill. Used to be great when i last visited in August 2025. Now they they have switched to Ground meat for Birria taco. Seriously? Tofu used to be crispy and drizzled with hot honey, now it is just some sweet sauce and crust is soggy. Doing BOGO on few tacos but quality is going down. Fix up or get ready to close down.

Walked in right at opening (noon), turned around, walked out...the smell of old food skank and dirty mop water hit us in the face with a rude smack! No, no, no, no, no. If it smells that bad in the front of the house, then who knows whats going on in back? Yuck! I've worked in too many kitchens over too many years, to know better!
