Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Sarasota

Ryker was our server and he was amazing - he made our experience at Cooper's Hawk better than ever!!!

We love Cooper's Hawk. The meal (for the first time) wasn't a 5. It was good, but not great like usual. It will continue to be one of our favorite restaurants. The service was perfect, as always.

Our server Crystal took several minutes to acknowledge us. Finally took our drink order. I'm not exaggerating. It took 15 minutes to bring our Pelegrino. Finally took our food order after that. Food was very good as usual. But it'll be a while before we come back.

The waitress that we had slow which can be understandable on a holidayWe had to ask three times for refills on wine twice for Straws for water. The dinner that we got was awful Thanksgiving dinner. We have been going to Sarasota Cooper Hawks winery for three years for their Thanksgiving day special and I must say that this was the worst I have ever had from there all the other ones were perfect. This was horrible. The stuffing was like glue. The green beans were the size of a String of hair and they were hard as a brick. The carrots were dry. The cranberry sauce was great what little you got of it and so was the cheesecake that was good the turkey was good except for the dark meat it was like a giblet. It wasn’t like a piece of meat the mashed potatoes were good, but the whole problem is is that we received the dinners and they were cold, and we waited and waited and waited for extra gravy and for them to heat it up or redo the plate she never came couldn’t find her so he began to eat never got any bread With our meal all in all, it was a complete utter disaster for Thanksgiving. I could’ve had a better Thanksgiving at IHOP than there we won’t be doing this ever again and we are members of the club but for how much longer we don’t know after this experience and who doesn’t have unsweet tea, but have sweet tea and can’t make unsweet tea because it comes pre-sweet already and they were out of the unsweet tea. If you know a holiday is coming up you better have a overstock on everything that you have Because you know not everyone drinks, wine, beer, or anything like that get it together Cooper Hawk, or your business will fall. We noticed when we got there that a lot of people used to be surrounding the place on Thanksgiving day but when we went this time, it was Not busy hardly at all so no excuse for delays

Thanksgiving dinner along with other menu items. Diego our waiter was professional and just downright nice! Table of 4 without reservations was fantastic. Very busy day for all staff etc. Definitely will come back when I can. Thanks for easy enjoyable day!

We went there for Thanksgiving and it was great. We were seated at the correct time and had (Loren) a wonderful server. The turkey dinner was excellent and huge portion. The butternut squash soup was the best I have ever had. Worth a visit

Wonderful experience. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. He was very friendly and accommodating. Love love Coopers Hawk every time!

We got the Thanksgiving special and was very pleased. Butternut soup started us off…turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, whole cranberry sauce, green beans and carrot sticks all perfectly done. The portions were enough to take almost half home! Our only hiccup was we all thought the desert was a bit too sweet. It was pumpkin cheesecake and it was delicious but it had caramel sauce with pecan bits poured over it and made it way too sweet.
All in all at $36 each we were very pleased.

We were here for Thanksgiving dinner. The best thing was the butternut squash, soup and pumpkin cheesecake. The main course was terrible. It was cold the veggies were old & dried out. The white turkey was good but the dark meat was horrible. The stuffing was dry like glue. We asked for a manager that never showed up. This is the worst restaurant to go to for ANY holiday. Sad!!!

Its a nice place. Do not expect anything vegan. They have one expensive dish they can make vegan and charge you the same amount as if it had meat and its a small pile of rice. Should be a $2 side and its almost $30.
Good place to have drinks and a quick business meeting but thats about it if you dont eat meat

Slowest service I’ve ever had. Food mediocre. Waitress was actually very nice and pleasant. Went out to the wine bar area at entry when we were leaving and a German cockroach was in a glass on the display. For $400 with tip and drinks and entrees I still think it’s definitely not on par. Go to Michael John’s it’s a million times better at same price point

We had a great time at Cooper's Hawk. We went for my friend's birthday. We started in the tasting room and sampled some delicious wines. Then removed to dinner. Sarah was our server in the bar top area. She she was absolutely awesome, she really took great care of us. She was was just the right amount of attentive and super friendly. Food and wine were delicious. Highly recommend the chicken piccata.

We had a wine tasting before dinner, it was excellent. The wine was very good with a wide variety. We were able to try several wines which was nice. The server was great, very polite and knowledgeable about the wine she was pouring. After the wine tasting it was time to have dinner. The menu had a wide variety of choices. The appetizers and dinner were amazing and also the coxtails were great. Our server Gianna was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Me and my family had a great time. Weather you're there for a wine tasting and or for dinner, you will definitely enjoy yourself. We highly recommend it.

tall bald bartender is meh. more concerned about working relationships and what bar back is ordering to go.. not actually paying attention to or serving customers.. doesn't acknowledge new bar patrons and never follows up (= loss of sales).. Totally male-pleasing & arrogant & this isn't the first time.. not impressed.
Food is excellent. Personality . not so much.
