Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Sarasota

We have been going to coops for a year a couple times a week. (sadly it’s our absolute fave) Last night was Unacceptable! Must be new management. The brunette lady manager we usually have is over the top amazing would never had let this situation happen. The lady last night I Haven’t seen. I cannot believe how terrible the service was. Danielle was awful! We have been going several times monthly for a year as three bottle club members. Kenny and Emma have always been amazing and gave great service!

Lately the food has been delayed tremendously. Last night it took 15 minutes to get sat past our reservation. Finally got sat. Then got drinks ordered. Drinks came 15 minutes later. Husbands drink came 30 minutes later. When we ordered a bottle of wine it took 30 minutes to finally come. Danielle barely came to our table. She kept dodging us. Finally we complained and told the manager about the service. The manager went and talked to Danielle in front of us and continued to talk and laugh about our table and point. (As we were sat in the back by the back computer towards the take out door) Good job at bad customer service. You guys portrayed what not to do in a scenario of good customer service. Very disappointing. Go to the kitchen. So insulting. Do better.

We did the wine tasting. It was moderately busy, but still space at the wine bar. No greeting and when we finally got served was passed off to another employee who was overwhelmed to begin with and never acknowledged us. My friend has to speak up rather loudly to get service.

Cooper's Hawk is one of our favorite restaurants, and we dine there often. The food is delicious, staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food and Madison was great ! We will be back again a few weeks. The Sea Bass was delicious

So we finally returned after no a great experience in February. Let me just tell you from the bar to the table everything was excellent. The bartender is an absolutely wonderful woman who make a great cocktail. The server was awesome. She was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. I had the bake Parmesan shrimp and my husband had salmon. We started with the chicken dumplings! So glad this visit was perfect. See you soon!!

The service was outstanding and ambience perfectly suited for couples. The gracious wine samples were a fun and hospitable surprise!

We have eaten at Coopers many times. I had the grouper. I felt for the money it was too small.

First time experience. Great restaurant and our waiter was very kind and patient as we had someone in our party that can be difficult. I got the 8oz filet and it was cooked perfectly. They did run out of broccoli and churrasco steak but the wine was excellent. Ambiance, vibes and energy was super positive and comfortable.

Had the Chicken Maderia it was very delicious!

Enjoyed dinner on the patio- food was delicious and Branton was a fantastic server! Highly recommend!

Food is really good, but every time we go there is a problem with something . Whether it's cold meatballs for the appetizer, a hair on my mash potatoes or they forgot to bring something like my French fries I order with my steak until I was finished with all my food. It's a shame because it could be 5 stars across the board.

Ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Mostly burnt leaves.maybe 2 or 3 Brussels you could actually bite into. Certainly not worth the money. Claimed bacon in the recipe...must have waived it over the plate. Buschetta was good.

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is consistent, and the pricing is very appropriate. I would recommend the Sarasota Cooper's Hawk to anyone who is traveling in this area. So convenient to jump off I 75 - enjoy a great meal and be able to continue on your trip. - Don't forget the great wines.

Food was outstanding as usual! We had Ryan G foe a server and he was phenomenal! Friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend him as well as Coopers Hawk for any meal or special occasion!!
