The sauces!!!! Just had lunch with family here and it was awesome. The currywurst was amazing by itself, coming with a spicy curry ketchup, but when you add the German potato salad it’s the perfect meal. Sneaking one, or several, of my daughter’s fries and trying all the sauces was worth the glare I received from her. Several different mustards and mayos made everything they touched taste better. I was considering eating my napkin when all was said and done. So great to chat with the employee and hear a little about the restaurant. The outside seating was perfect, too. I highly recommend Curry Up King!

Everything here is great! Always keep my tastebuds guessing and happy for it! I love how easy the currywurst is to enjoy, and with so much flavor! All their sausages are actually German, and they make all their dishes from scratch! Fun to watch them work when I order a schnitzel sandwich and they pound it out right in front of you. Really is fresh! On my list of places to frequent when around the fruitville/ beneva area!

This is a great spot! Whenever I'm having a craving for currywurst, this is my go-to. All of their food is delicious and is just as good as what you find in Germany. Today, they even remade my meal and threw in a complimentary apple strudel with a handwritten note because DoorDash was having issues finding drivers for the area. It was a nice gesture even though it wasn't their fault. Wonderful business owners!

Went here with a friend a few days ago. I got the schnitzel sandwich and the sauce with it was wonderful. Friend got the currywurst with potato salad. We both enjoyed these meals. Wonderful prices! Come visit! You'll be back for more!

Ordered schnitzel, currywurst and strudel. Schnitzel was great, CW was ok (but that may be on me. Don't think it was bad, but not something I would order again) and strudel was good. Price is a bit high for food quantity BUT not by much and it's specialized so I was fine with it. Good luck and tasty eats.

My family found this gem of a place online as we were leaving Siesta Key beach. My wife, daughter and I had the Schnitzel sandwich. They got the side of fries, but I went with the red cabbage. My son ordered the Berlin combo plate with a side of red cabbage and German potato salad. The food was delicious! It tasted exactly as it did when I lived in Germany while in the military. The young man who served us was very kind and attentive. If you are ever in the area please stop in. You'll be glad that you did. PS...the Apple strudel was to die for!!!
