We love D'Corato Restaurant! The food is AMAZING. Homemade sauce is delicious. The owner/staff are so hospitable and share their knowledge of the wines and food. They have recently renovated the inside and we loved it before but the new design is simply elegant. We live in Ct but have a house in Bradenton and always make a reservation here to fulfill our italian craving!!!

We have been to their family run restaurant and it was delicious! Because of this we had them cater a small business event at our home. Everyone loved the food and I loved that they delivered. D’Corato a wonderful place in downtown Sarasota!
This is one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a very long time. The Porcini Ravioli is to die for! The atmosphere is gorgeous, it’s very romantic and the waitstaff is attentive without being overbearing. A wonderful gem of a place

At the first visit, we shared the linguini with clams and the Saltimbocca. Both were excellent!!! Their wine list is extremely limited. But that was ok, we had a PG. The food was that good! We were excited to come back!!!
At our second visit, things changed! My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan, he wasn't impressed, tasteless was his response. I ordered the risotto and the aborio rice was hard!! The hard texture turned me off. I know restaurants around the senior population limit their salt, but these dishes just weren't good!!
We were saddened after our first experience! Will we go back? Maybe???? If it knocks my socks off? I'll change my review!!! I want you to be great!!

We enjoyed our experience from start to finish. The bread was brought to the table warm, the salads were inventive and fresh, and our entrees were carefully crafted for maximum tastiness. We felt like we were in Italy. The restaurant is optimally located, with convenient parking behind, about three blocks from Main Street downtown Sarasota. We will tell our friends about this little jewel.

Overall a pleasant experience but I’m not likely to go back. We had a veal dish the was very good. Pasta dishes were good. The Ceaser salad was very bland and did not taste much like a Ceaser. There was no one item that really grabbed us.
