Demetrios Pizza & Grill

We’re from out of town(North Fla) and stopped in for the first time last night. We’ve passed through this area a few times, and I’ll admit the exterior gave us a a little pause, but we are so glad we didn’t pass it up! The food and service were genuinely fantastic! Our server was incredibly attentive, and we noticed every server treating their tables with the same energy; friendly, engaged, and on top of things. Portions were generous, and the prices were very fair, IMHO. The music was at the perfect volume. It wasn’t packed, but it definitely wasn’t empty either. For a Saturday around 5 PM, the wait time for our food was totally reasonable. Overall, we were really impressed with our visit! We’ll be back every time we’re in the area, and we already recommended it to our family in Siesta Key, South Sarasota, and Bradenton.

we ordered a medium pizza & when we arrived for pickup an overdone, dried out,
burnt tomato sauce large pizza was waiting. o had to throw it out the taste was SO BITTER & dry. That's that last time we'll waste our money on Demetrios Pizza!

Went for the first time with my family and I was looking forward to enjoy the veal marsala. As a marsala dishes lover, the wine reduction it was overcooked that it tested like a pancake syrup instead of marsala. The service was great and atmosphere was great too. I might try again down the road.

I had a gyro there a few months ago and it was descent. I had another one last night and the meat was overcooked and the Tzatziki sauce was lame and plain. The Olympia in Bradenton is far better.

Dining in or delivery, the food was AMAZING. Clean restaurant, attentive service, friendly wait staff. Delivery service via Uber Eats: food was HOT, delicious, and portions were quite generous. Omg I can’t say enough good things about this place!!
Arrived just prior to opening last week. We were sweetly greeted by gentleman with dark hair who kindly allowed us to wait indoors, out of the heat, with courtesy and kindness. He waited on us and was very informative and answered all our questions patiently!!! Will ALWAYS visit when I’m in from Jersey!!! Thank you!!
