Dolce Italia - Authentic Italian Restaurant

Went for first time with my wife. Ordered their special with meatballs and it came out with sausage. My wife ordered the lasagna which was supposed to have bolognese sauce but there was none. At least, waiter took off the bill. Very disappointing meal and will NOT return. We had high hopes as just moved to this part of Sarasota.

What can I say about this place, that it is absolutely amazing and delicious! We have tried a lot of Italian places in the area and this place is it!!! The food the service and it's also super cute inside! Five stars I highly recommend the PENNE ALL' ARRABBIATA!! My favorite!

The food was delicious, amazing flavors. Service was outstanding, ambiance was not too quiet and not too lively. This is a great time for couples, families or a group of friends . I will go back.

Great experience however we came for lasagna! The restaurant did not bake enough at 6 PM they were out. Only one of our party of six could have the lasagna! And we watched her say how wonderful it was as a dish!!! Next time we will order when we make reservation!

It is my new favorite restaurant. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming. From the honey fig burrata to the homemade pasta and scallops to the pistachio gram cracker dessert, it was all divine!

We had an amazing experience! Everyone at our table of 4 raved about their meal. Service was great. Loved the ambience of the room. Great vibe! Friendly staff. Our only regret is that we live an hour away!

Dolce Italia has become our favorites and never disappoints! We have many favorites we love and the lasagne and the chicken piccata at the top of the list, so far. But we just went for the Savour Sarasota and tried new dishes, all fabulous. The decor is charming, and the owner, Matthew, is delightful and makes us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!!!

Each time we dine there, the food and service are perfect! We take out of town guests and they loved it as much as we do!

We went for my birthday as it is my favorite Italian restaurant! The food is always cooked perfectly, the ambiance is great and love the owner and staff! Thank you for my dessert which I gobbled up and my family loved it as well.

We love Dolce Italia. Our family of 7 enjoyed appetizers and main and dessert. The service is always exceptional and the staff caters to special request without blinking an eye. Cannot recommend more
