This place is amazing!!! The waiters treat the customers with care. I dropped a fork on the floor and they picked it up, put it in their pocket, and replaced it immediately. The food here is even better!! The food is placed with care and everything is so good. But best of all, the wait isn’t even that long!!! Only like 5 minutes and you’re being served 5-Star Salmon!! And the view… Astonishing!!! You can see the whole city bellow you and I feel like I’m looking at earth from a satellite!! 5 stars 100%.

We visited November 8, 2024, for our anniversary. The visit started out great. Our waiter was friendly at first. He made suggestions, was pleasant. We asked if business was picking up after the storm, blah, blah, blah. Then he tells us he is really a realtor for high end homes. I make a joke, we are from the other side of the tracks, Bradenton.
Boom. He ended our service. He spent a good 10 minutes talking to another couple, I assume, were potential clients. I needed a knife for my fish. I was getting ticked. He finally passes by I tell him. He gives me knife and goes back to the other couple. He had 3 tables. The other was also neglected.
My husband loved his meal, my sea bass was o.k. but difficult to eat when I just had a fork. It was crusted heavily and a thin cut.
We tipped him 19 percent but really wanted to do less. And should have. He missed out and so did we. It tainted our first experience there and I am not sure we will be back.
I might add, we don't need to be doted on, at all. It was just irritating to need something and watch the waiter suck up to future clients. Frankly, those people were probably irritated that he didn't leave them alone to their evening.

One of the best views in Sarasota. From the 8th floor of Lido Key Resort, you can see the beach, rooftops and St. Armands Circle. The restaurant and decor is perfect. The food is great. The cocktails are delicious. Service is wonderful.

Beautiful 8th floor restaurant and bar overlooking Lido Beach. Awesome sunset views, great drinks and service. We just went for drinks but the menu and food looked great. Drink prices were a little on the high side but you’re paying for location and view.

I loved the Lido Beach Resort, and the Drift Kitchen & Bar did not disappoint. You don't have to be a hotel guest to dine at this establishment, but I would recommend making a reservation because it can get quite busy. The food was really tasty. Most things are made in house, like their bread and pizzas. The short ribs are absolutely amazing. They have a good variety of drinks and dishes. You can't go wrong with the pasta or the desserts. It is a bit fancier to make sure to dress accordingly.

The ambience sets the tone immediately after being greeted by the hostess. My meals have always been incredible. The views of the beach and gulf are spectacular.
