Beautiful restaurant....Executive Chef was awesome and explained specials! Made a special non- garlic sauce for our friend:) Manager went above and beyond and even stored our party favors in his office! Thankyou to all the hard working staff!

Go for the view, forget the food and service. The wait staff is poorly trained. Probably asked us 7 times if we were ready to order. A $44 dollar grouper dish came with spinach on the plate which we can't eat. When asked about it the wait staff said they made a mistake and did not take the issue seriously at all. Fine dining prices with sports bar tvs hanging on the wall. Go to the beach for sunset and find a different restaurant.

Unfortunately Not as advertised,.. beware~ even the Host was seemingly on AutoPilot- despite our reservation “Do you want 1st Available?” for inside vs out; & the same for the waitress a little more engaging but even stating she was Delivering a pre-recorded message of options. Then the Diner-style food delivery- $30+ for 4 barely-seasoned shrimp & scallops; not impressed & better options for the money!

Had a delicious dinner. Relaxing. The ambiance was energetic. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Patient and made courteous. Although crowded the noise level was understandable evidence of the personality of the restaurant Missed the music tho

Best meal we had while in Sarasota. We drove from Siesta Key Village. Our server was a rockstar. Attending to every need. The Short rib was superb & the view of the sunset would rival any that we have seen anywhere. Super cool. Lively location.

Decided to take my hubby to Drift Kitchen & Bar for his birthday. First time there. It was a beautiful, delicious, romantic, perfect experience. Our server, Courtney, provided service excellence. The specialty cocktails were unique and very satisfying. The food was absolutely delicious and presentation was amazing. The dessert choices were unique and we shared the special dessert of the day. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset to boot. We highly recommend Drift Kitchen & Bar at the Lido Beach Resort and we will definitely be back.

Service was just unbearably slow and took forever to get each course including drinks with minimal check ins in between and only trying to sell the table on more drinks. This only after the server continued to suggest peach schnapps with club soda as a ‘Mocktail' for me at 8mos pregnant, apparently not understanding that it's a liqueur and continuing to suggest it even though my friend noted that it wouldn't be okay and that I was pregnant. We went through two full things of bread and debated a third, out of sheer hunger while waiting for our salads. Overall, he was pleasant and smiling. The ambiance was nice and the view was great. My husband and I are locals so we will still give a second shot and return after baby is born for drinks and apps, hoping for a better experience second time around.

First time at this restaurant. In eighth floor of Lifo resort with floor to ceiling windows and great views of Gulf. Had crudo tuna appetizer. Tuna was very fresh and well seasoned. Main course was beef short ribs. Also well seasoned and served with mashed potatoes, spinach and carrots. All portions were substantial. Came with bread served with oil as well as butter and hummus. Service was excellent, although food came faster than I would have expected.

Bread was great, salad was great, pasta and shrimp were mediocre at best. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous! It's a shame the quality of did didn't match the quality of the atmosphere.

This place is absolutely awesome. Great view. Awesome service. The food was great. Drinks were great. We had the pork belly appetizer but that was actually not great at all.

We stayed at the Hotel previously but decided to make the drive back just to dine at the Drift on the 8th floor of the Palm Tower. We took another couple with us and everyone enjoyed their meals. We asked for a table with a water view but with that one side of the table gets the sun in their eyes for a period of time during the sunset. We will return to the Drift Kitchen and Bar.

Beautiful views and the presentation of the food looked great. The taste was good overall, but to me not worth the price. We loved our waiter, he went above and beyond! My group was big, we were 7 people. We all got cocktails, and unfortunately no one liked theirs. Overall worth it for the views!

Service was good. Ambience very nice. Capresse burrata salad was very good. Snapper, their recommended dish, was served warm not hot and tasted just ok. The pork chop was just ok as well. The pineapple upside down dessert was not that flavorful and my decaf was not very hot.

Grouper was decent but presentation and accompaniment was not great. Did not compliment the meal- the pile of spinach and fingerling potatoes were very bland and presentation lacked. Shrimp gnocchi was ok but extremely heavy on the oil. Were not asked how the meal was even though I sent back my gnocchi 3\4 uneaten. Spicy “Drifteria” and old fashioned were delicious. Had to send my drink back because it was not made spicy the first time. Will not be coming back for dinner-maybe the cocktails.

The ambiance and setting is extraordinary, service is good, food is ok. The overall experience was made memorable, with a view of gulf that is incomparable. We attended Easter Brunch.
