Out of the DD from Palmetto to Sarasota, this one is my favorite and preferred. The staff are professional they won't make any unwanted comments. They are polite, friendly, welcoming. They work swiftly as they train new hires, bake and cook certain items, ,and change stock. These are the people who wake up early even before their coffee to make ours. The service is relatively quick. It does not take as long as other places. The atmosphere inside is quite, neat looking, sometimes you find a few people n working on laptops inside. Well lit and decorated nicely. From what I have experienced the staff connects they engage they remember orders they do wonderful, they are kind and friendly and helpful and patient. A majority of the reviewa I see here are for drive thru to delivery.

Ordering in person in the store is always the easiest and faster service. Mobile ordering works well so long as you are at most 5 minutes from the location. If you want warm foods such as bagels and sandwiches or wraps.

It's good to mention and note that this is a wrap around drive thru. So larger vehicles might have more difficulty queing.

It is in the middle of a parking lot as well. So between regular traffic and the parking lot and pedestrian foot traffic, your wait time is going to be extended since customers don't pay at the voice box. Each person who has ordered mobile pickup or in person att he registers will get your coffee faster at times then others. As you can't guarantee how large the cars order is in front of you. It's basic business logic.

As for the Uber eats issues. That is not always the fault of the store. You're depending on other people. Which while Uber eats has better drivers in my experience then door dash. You have to rely on the people who drive and pick up your food to ensure they are getting the whole order. If you miss drinks or certain items it's possible that between the customers at the window. And register and the possibility someone picks up your items at mobile pick-up by accident that isn't your driver. Then it's fair to say that the location and staff are not fully responsible for the mishap. Especially if Uber eats refunds you.

If you want quick food coffee then visit the inside of the store, where you can purchase cups, dog toys, and coffee pods and ground coffee.

If the wait is so long, let me be the one to remind you, they do not get paid the best, the minimum wage is controlled by the state and government. Not always is it the fault of the company. This isn't a rocket scientists job, and yet they wake up and deal with cranky moms in drive thru screaming at their children, some of the employees may be teens themselves, if you're a CEO or just simply in a rush, you should have left earlier, made your own coffee.

However out of the basic criteria to define a good branch this is the best.

As a Massachusetts person born and raised, I know a good Dunks. I also know good people and great employees. And this location shows that.

In Florida In this area a lot of the other locations it's Pervy creepy managers, teens that aren't listening, or cranky older employees and bad locations. The parking lots out here and design of the locations is sometimes meant to get you to go inside.

So for heavens sake just go inside the store if you are looking for a better experience.

I was in during morning rush hour. Comments on 2 different aspects. 1st, the crew working. They were amazing. Hustling and working as hard and as fast as they possibly could, all the while remaining kind and pleasant.

2nd comment on the owner/operator. A total failure. This team was woefully understaffed & over stressed. I waited 10 mins to have my order taken at the counter, and the drive thru continued to fall more & more behind. Not bc of the staff & I don’t fault them. They were just overwhelmed.

It would be great if DD could pay a decent wage so that it can retain employees & provide actual services. Sat in the drive-thru for 17 minutes (at the actual speaker) before the employee took my order. They are ALWAYS understaffed & it isn’t the employees fault. It’s corporate’s fault for not paying a competitive wage so they can retain employees. I watched customers drive out of the drive thru line before ordering. DD is losing money hand over fist due to their lack of staff.

Oh my God what a nightmare. How could something so good go so wrong.

Just go ahead and add this dunkin on places to avoid. You will sit in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. There was only 3 cars ahead of me and i waited for over 30 minutes to even order. I got to the window and there was 4 people working and the ones working the drive thru window were arguing with each other. It’s a joke. Just save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

This location prioritizes walk-ins. They leave you trapped in the drive-thru for 30 mins while people who are avoiding the long drive thru, walk in and out. It’s causing superficial congestion because serving the drive thru more efficiently would prevent the many of the walk-ins that they are prioritizing.
Some of the store employees have very bad attitudes and others look extremely stressed out.
I’m not sure who is running this location but I will likely just take my business to Einstein for my coffee from now on. It’s a bit more expensive and inconvenient to get there but they are leagues above this dunkin in service and staff.

The best service I have had in years, I always go and they have never treated me like they did yesterday and today. Rebecca was and is very kind, and I can't stop thinking about the good things she has in her heart and a sample of this was giving my son, who is celebrating his birthday, a small box with some donuts just for him and taking the time to write Happy Birthday on the box. You, as a business, should motivate your staff, the world needs people like that, kind, happy, smiling. Don't let her lose, she is an excellent employee. A thousand points for her.
