My breakfast at Eggstraordinary this morning was--how do I put it--extraordinary (sorry). This was my first time visit. On entering the establishment I noted the open, airy, and charming ambience. The tables were covered with white tablecloths, the chairs were comfortable, and the welcome by the hostess cheerful and warm. The prices are remarkably reasonable, the service is prompt, the wait staff attentive, and the food was delicious. (Their grits are incredible.). If you are looking for a superb breakfast at an inexpensive price, Eggstraordinary should be very high on your list.

The food was very good. I wasn't impressed with the service. The menu listed a dish that was supposed to have multiple meat choices and as I was ordering the dish the waitress interrupted me and told me that I would get one meat only and I would get two pieces of that meat. I couldn't mix or match or anything and that's not what the menu said, and if the menu was wrong I get it. But I felt she could have been a little nicer about how she phrased her comment.

Erica and Harry , the owners , run a first class operation . The food is extraordinary . My favorite is their avocado toast . They make it just right , and it is delicious . Whatever we have ordered is excellent from eggs , omelettes , pancakes, waffles , wraps etc. Everything we’ve eaten has that “ homemade “ taste . Erica is out front and Harry is in the kitchen . And from ordering your meal to its arrival at your table works seamlessly . It’s open for breakfast and lunch . So if you’re looking for a great place to eat breakfast, lunch , or brunch look no further than Eggstraordinary on Cattleman in the Burlington Shopping Center !

Went this morning only 2 men sitting at 1 table. The place was empty. I seen why. I ordered traditional breakfast, scrambled eggs, hash browns with grilled onions, soft bacon and wheat toast. The waitress was non communicating and short with conversation. The food OMG it was cold and greasy and not seasoned at all. I used alot of salt just to give it flavor and still did no justice. Scrambled Eggs partially raw, hash browns very greasy, bacon was ordered soft and was hard and crunchy, the only thing that was good was my water with lemon. Thank goodness I had that because it helped me get the taste out of my mouth. Why my food was cold made no sense being the cook was only cooking my food the other 2 men already had thier food and there was not anyone else in the restaurant except staff. For $20 not worth the money. Will not return to this one. Do not recommend.
