Easter Brunch experience was good up until the bill. Understand that adding a service charge on a special occasion is typical, but then asked for another tip on top was over the top. Should have been presented as a suggested "additional" tip. Didn't catch the math until tip was already added. We left the additional full tip, but that was handled poorly.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! For us, it was the EXCEPTIONAL l service starting from the Hostess who took us to our seat all the way to meeting the manager, servers and our main server. They were friendly, professional, patient and sooooo accommodating. The brussel sprouts were TO DIE FOR and all the food was delicious. They catered to our every need...we felt pampered and so well taken care of, and will definitely visit again.
The entire experience was very rushed. Even when we told the waiter to slow down the service, food came up. Courses would come out before the last course was even completed. For example, we ordered a cocktail while we looked at the menu. Once we chose the valentines menu, food, salad, and main course all came out within 10 minutes of each other, over lapping. If we wouldn't have tried to the slow the process down, we would have been completed in less than 30 min. Even after asking to slow down, the process was very fast. In and out in less than hour. For the price we paid, dinner shouldn't be a quick bite to eat. Ultimately, we cancelled the bottle of wine because we simply wouldn't have had time to drink it.
We were seated promptly and professionally. It went downhill from there. We were under a strong draft from the AC and it was cold. When we asked our sever if we could move to a different table, he said the whole restaurant was cold, so it wouldn't help. i asked for a wine list. Our server showed up a minute later and wanted to take our order. I again asked for a wine list and he brought it. We decided on the $150 meal for 2. My wife ordered the filet "really well done" Our server offered to butterfly it and that was acceptable. She asked to substitute something else for the polenta. The wine showed up with the first course. One small scallop. Nicely presented, but still just one bite. The salad was delightful. I asked to see the wine list again to order a red wine with the meal. The entrées appeared next, with my wife's steak sitting on a pile of polenta. When she cut into it, it was done medium. We tried to send it back, but our server never showed up. We got tired of waiting and she wound up eating around the edges where it was more done, but leaving the bulk of the meal. My chicken was a nice meal. Our server never appeared to take the wine order so I gave up. We asked for a box for the balance of her steak, and our server took her plate to box the remaining steak. A few moments later he appeared and stated that they had thrown out her steak. He offered us a free drink. Since I never got to order the wine, I accepted a free glass of wine. Our desert was next -- well conceived and well presented, but no silverware. We waited 5 - 10 minutes to get silverware. As we left, we were relieved to get out side where it was warm and relieved to be done with the meal. Alas, the valet had lost our car. We waited 20 minutes for them to find it, and my wife had to go back into the hotel to find a place to sit as we waited. I expected more from the Westin. We wont' be back. .
I took my wife for Valentine's Day, we had the filet mignon and 2 glasses of red wine. It was an experience we will remember forever, the dining area was beautiful and the ambiance was marvelous. The food and wine was to die for, I can't recommend this restaurant enough
It is kind of stark inside albeit modern. Christmas Day for a late lunch. George was FAB as our sever. Temp in the restaurant was set WAY TOO LOW! It was cold in there. Food was very good, especially my wife's salmon was even better. It was ok but there are so many other dinning experiences in SRQ. OK for hotel guests however.
Food and staff were amazing! Salmon is to die for.

Amazing food & service! Everything was delicious!
Disappointing breakfast this morning at Evoq. 20-25 minutes for simple egg dishes and believe our server Valerie just didn’t put the order in. Not sure as she never came back to check after the food finally arrived. Although not all the food arrived at once and further delayed for one extra egg.
Then we discovered the eggs were overcooked and just not great dishes overall.
I asked to see the manager, Juan Barajas, but had to ask another employee as Valerie would not come by our table.
Juan apologized for the poor service and food but did not offer to do anything more.
Breakfast was free as I’m a Marriott Platinum. Either way, the Westin management should want to offer excellent service and food to guests so wanted to alert Juan to the issues.

Nice restaurant beautifully decorated. Breakfast was slow coming, however, the food was great I had the eggs benedict. I don't eat bread but the breakfast toast was really delish. I would return.

Was really good, liked the healthy options. One recommendation. I love all foods and rarely find anything I don't like or at least toler a te. The Noodle bowl with curry peanut sauce was one of the most inedible things I've ever put in my mouth, no lie, and I love everything. Live noodle bowls and think it's a great item, just that was really really bad. Great service and friendly staff.
Enjoyed a delicious meal here after proposing to my fiancé and it was fantastic. Jessica was great and was super kind and helpful. The entire staff was so welcoming and did a great job of helping us celebrate the special occasion.

Wish I could say we had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch but it was disappointing and drab with no special attention to anything. Tables had wilted roses and no special touches for the moms at all maybe a nice dessert sampler? Or breakfast spread ? No creative management is evident. The valets were more enthusiastic about the Mother's Day than anyone at the restaurant. Thought you should kk is, it was our first time here and it did not give us any desire to return.
Although the open concept is nice, it was weird having a wedding party right next to us. Had to send one meal back and because it took so long to get our food did not want to re-order. Waiter blamed it on the wedding, but I don't see how that's our problem. Ate there for dinner and breakfast . Breakfast was good except the fresh juice taste like water down fruit.
