We think this place is a gem and love the staff and owners. It is small and quant and the food is amazing!
Was really looking forward to coming here with my wife on V-Day and had to cancel unfortunately as her hair got screwed up at the salon an hour before. Called to cancel and they were rude and were complaining about how they turned people away and would likely have to charge us a fee for canceling. I understand the fee is the fee that’s fair but very poor customer service. Could have easily been nice about it and would have been no problem. Won’t be going back anymore.
Absolutely a perfect night. So extremely happy that it is under new management with Erika. Former owner was rude. Everything was impeccable! The food is over the top! Erika even walked out and helped me find a parking space. I will be back. Worth every penny.
Erica the owner was amazing, super sweet. and overall it was a great Valentines dinner experience. Food was super fresh and wonderful flavors. We highly recommend.
Intimate bistro atmosphere on Hillview just off Tamiami. Our prix fixe menu offered four good choices for east course Attentive service, timely, not obtrusive. Price a little high for prix fixe but food was well prepared and presented and tasty. Great chocolate mousse for dessert.
Everything was to perfection-cuisine, service, atmosphere!!!! We had French onion soup, Lyonnaise salad, beef burgundy, Profiteroles, Lalande wine!!!! Will definitely return. Must try more.
Wonderful restaurant. You feel like you are in a little bistro in Paris. We chose it for my daughter's birthday and they even had a birthday card waiting for her at our table! The only thing lacking was that it seemed to take a little while to get our order in and to get the check. The restaurant was almost full and it was a Wednesday night - perhaps another waiter? One of my favorite restaurants and I love the new owners and Jerome the waiter straight from Paris - maybe not from Paris but he sure is authentic and professional!
First, the waiter. He was attentive and very pleasant. Perfect! Second, we had 3 different entrees, duck breast, dover sole, and a special ribeye. Everything was delicious, and the portions were perfect. The Dover sole was delicate, simply seasoned with lemon. The duck breast was excellent, crispy skin. The ribeye was cooked to medium rare, and while sauces were offered, our diner chose no sauce. Sides were included and we had green beans, mashed potatoes (incredibly creamy and buttery) and crispy fries. We tasted each other's dishes and we all agreed that we would happily return to try other things on the menu. The ambiance was small bistro, white tablecloth, tables well placed for space. Pricing was commensurate with other local high end restaurants and while I wish it was more reasonable, the food and the experience made it worth it.
This is a busy neighborhood and this restaurant has a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. As a first time visitor, it would be helpful to know this in advance. This French restaurant excels in all of its offerings.
Outstanding as always. So many neighbors were concerned it would change with new ownership but we can tell you it's BETTER! Delicious! We had escargot, the French onion soup, Dover Sole, French fries and profiteroles! It's back into our regular rotation. We had a beautiful evening!

Always a French experience of great food and gracious hosting. Atmosphere is so French. We love this place
WONDERFUL MEAL! So very pleased the new owner has not just continued fine French gastronomy at this charming restaurant — but improved on the offerings. Osso Buco was possibly the best I have ever had. Carolyn's Branzino was outstanding. Preceded by a simple but deliciously crisp and tasty salad. Followed by scrumptious Profiteroles. Congratulations to Erika! Can't wait to return!
We had a wonderful dinner at Figaro Bistro! We didn't want to cook the night before Thanksgiving and opted for a dinner out - Figaro was great! We started with the delicious foie gras with fig preserve and a bowl of terrific asparagus soup. That was followed by a very generous portion of mussels and fries - really excellent!! Our mains were the seafood with pasta, the duck and the filet. All were cooked well and served warm! We were too full to even think of desert - next time. We look forward to our next visit - nice to find such a gem here in Sarasota!
Always a great experience at the SRQ gem. I highly recommend for a wonderful night. Service is wonderful.
