A wonderful locally- owned donut shop! Love their donuts. They are all delicious, I can’t pick a favorite. The cronuts are awesome, simple donuts are classic, and the fancy special donuts are always fun and tasty. They do a lot to support our community, and I love supporting local (while indulging my sweet tooth)

They no longer charge per dozen and half dozen. Only per donut. 12 donuts cost $32. Will not go back. Used to be a good local company now just greedy corporate BS. Thanks for being open after the storm and gouging the customers.

@1 we went in and got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut and the cereal on top was stale. After scraping off all the toppings the donut itself was OK but I would not return for one of these fancy donuts, maybe i'll try a basic glazed donut next time. And they only serve hot coffee but on their menu they serve iced coffee so that was dissatisfying.

Great doughnuts. However, I will not return until they stop using Fabuloso cleaning products, it’s all I can smell when I walk in, & I can TASTE it in the doughnuts! A doughnut shop should smell like doughnuts!

I got there a little late in the morning so the selection wasn't great but what I had was good. These are probably the largest donuts I've ever seen. I'll definitely be back.

I’ve enjoyed Five-O Donuts for many years! Best in town!! I was so grateful that after I transitioned to vegan, I could still enjoy their delicious offerings made with 100% vegan ingredients. They have a dedicated fryer that has a palm/vegetable oil blend (different oil from the lard blend that is in the traditional fryers). I appreciate that they have gone to such great lengths to have a dedicated fryer purchased and installed to ensure the vegan donuts are as they say they are - vegan! I’m told they also purchased a 100% vegan donut base that costs twice that of the standard base. Additionally, Christine the owner kindly offered a personal tour of the Bradenton location to see the equipment and ingredients. Love to support a company as honest and transparent as this one! As far as I know they’re the only place in town for vegan yeast donuts & they never disappoint!

Showed up 20mins after opening and already the employees were grumpy. I got the Boston cream donut, which is my favorite, and it tasted as if it was sitting out all night. Very disappointed.

This is the second Five-O that we have been to. The selection is always outstanding but today, the help was a little 'meh'. The one we went to before no longer exists so we opted to try this one as it was the next closest to home. This is a nearly 50 minute drive for us but I've been thinking about the Plant City donut for months. We spent a little under $40 for 9 donuts, which we expected because they are very large gourmet flavors. The Plant City here was not as good as the other one, honestly. And the blueberry cake had no flavor to it. Unlike the other location, I am not sure that this one was worth the cost or the drive.

Sidenote, I understand not wanting to be at work or not particularly liking your job. I feel that. I'm sure we all do. But if you are the only face representing the store to the public on any given day, an attempt at being more personable might be a good idea. Gonna chalk it up to the guy just not having a good day and hope that things get better.

Still recommend them because it's a good treat.
