The young man says there is no coffee to have that he ordered it and it didn’t come in. He is currently making a pot of coffee I guess he didn’t see us watching him. He is rude and was on a personal phone call when we walked in. The coffee is gross by the way because according to young man it was last of the coffee in the whole store.

Went here for vegan donuts and they have none even though they advertise 4 different flavors :( Even called the other sarasota area location and they did not have any vegan ones either we are not from florida and looked forward to these donuts but were disappointed they did not have any. Please start advertising correctly.

First time here. Arrived at 8am. Case wasn't filled. There nothing to show the prices and when asked I was told it ranges from low to high and pointed from the direction of lowest to highest price. That wasn't helpful. Kind of felt I was bothering him with asking him that. Tv screen was off which im thinking that's where the pricing was. Spent $19 and they were stale. Not much flavor at all. They were hard. I got the long john and literally has filling in just the middle of it. Maybe an inch and half. Both ends were completely plain no filling. That was disappointing. They just filled it. It also had a white drizzle on it when I asked for a chocolate covered only.

Tasted like eating a hard stale roll vs a donut!

The choclate on the chocolate covered left a weird taste in my mouth.

There were no donut holes until tomorrow. I really wanted to try them.

They werent busy yet. 3 people in there including us.

I was really hoping for better tasting and quality. The guy had no smile no want to be there. He just wasn't friendly what so ever.
I'd like to give it another try but not to get food quality like we did at the price we paid. I dont mind up paying when it's actually fresh, filled right and taste good.

I just feel like quality and customer service could be better.

I wouldn't mind hearing back about this.

Update...
I would have expected someone to reach out on my review. But nope which kind of shows lack of care and concern how poorly a company is doing. I'm seeing many reviews similar to mine and no response. Do better.

I'm hoping maybe the other locations aren't owned by the same person. I'd like to give another a try.

I really feel like this place is a total rip-off and the reason why is because they supposedly make all their donuts in house but the filled donut with strawberry and powdered on the outside totally rip off and the reason why is cuz there was not much filling in it. Half of the donut was solid as a rock too. It was pretty hard and I think this place is very misleading with the size of donuts they have. You would think there would be a lot of filling inside but there isn't. You can actually go to dunkin' donuts and get one filled. Better than these are wouldn't waste my money and I'm going to include a couple pictures to prove everything to everyone else so maybe you should think about it. You really want to spend a lot of money for a donut that's not filled enough. It's not worth it. There's plenty of other donut shops around that offer great donuts made in house and have a ton of filling.

All 4 of our specialty donuts were dense, pretty flavorless and stale. Almost like eating two day old donuts. Even the marshmallow was inedible. All in the trash. At $18, I genuinely feel ripped off.

I’m not sure if they changed recipes or what happened but we got a dozen donuts and they literally just taste like dry white bread with frosting. I remember having five o donuts downtown on Main A few years ago, and I raved about how amazing the texture and chewiness was of the raised Glazed donuts. they were moist and amazing. Maybe they use a different method at different locations, but I will not be going back to the Sarasota location ever again. We paid so much money for donuts that we don’t even wanna eat. I’ll give the main street location another try because I remember how awesome they were there But if they taste like dry bread too, that would be really disappointing because this used to be the best donut shop in town.

I was really excited to try these because the pictures look so good! Unfortunately they were all extremely stale as if they had been on display for some time.

Delicious donuts. Friendly employees. Support local small business!
I just wish they had a location in South County.

I entered the store with high hopes. I've been in search of a good donut for some time now. The donuts here are average. The chocolate glazed was decent. The jelly donut was substandard. It was dry, hard and the jelly tasted cheap. The lady inside was very nice and friendly but if I'm paying $3.50 per donut, I'm expecting something better than the chain donuts we all know about. Maybe it was just an off day, but I probably won't return.

Worth every penny. It was a random idea... never went in before. As soon we I saw the case filled with EVERYTHING from traditional to crazy. I decided to surprise my partner's son, who is going through a lot right now for a little kid. I brought the box home and we had so much fun cutting them in halves and trying different flavors! BOSTON CREAM IS FIRE! 🔥 The cake donuts were seriously habit forming, especially the blueberry and the chocolate. Traditional rainbow sprinkles blew both of our minds and triggered happy childhood food memories for me! Thank you, Five-O! Way to go! I work around the corner, and I'll be in again for sure.

Went to 5-0 donut co for the first time this week. We bought several types of donuts and an apple fritter. The donuts and apple fritter were absolutely delicious. The staff and ownership is awesome and go above and beyond to serve you and make your experience great. Will definitely be coming back !!

First of all, the donuts are the best around. Especially that Cronut! Aside from that I have always had the best service. Especially today when I was gifting donuts to my doctor's office! They even hand wrote the gift note perfectly just for my doctor's office. Thank you Five-O!

Picked up donuts for the first time because my kids requested. We had them the same day I purchased them and they were dry and not good. We were disappointed, especially for $4 a donut.
