Flavio's Brick Oven Pizza & Bar Siesta Key

Terrific service and outstanding authentic Italian food. Flavio's is my favorite restaurant on Siesta Key!

We hadn't seen our friends in awhile, and I liked that we were asked if we would like a quiet table. We had such a nice time and sat and talked for hours without being rushed out. Our waiter was very sweet and did a great job! We enjoyed our pizza, but it was definitely pricey.

We had a Saturday reservation later in the evening- after 8:30. The restaurant was pretty uncrowded although some diners did arrive after us. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our cocktails were perfect- as usual- they have really excellent bartenders here! Enjoyed the beef carpaccio as a starter-we've had it here before and it is consistently good. One pasta entree (all pastas are made in-house) and one fish entree special (unique with turbot, shrimp, crabmeat wrapped in prosciutto) thoroughly enjoyed. Ended the meal with shared chocolate cake- yummy! The menu seems to have paired down a lot since we first began dining here but still lots of great choices in all categories. Our server Marco was terrific and we loved the playlist cranking in the background. We have been to Flavios many times in the last 5 years and always make a reservation. We find it most chill in seasonal “down” months. Will definitely be back!

It was beyond awful. The service was poor, the waiter neglected to tell us about the specials and went on a strange tirade about the poor quality of the seafood in Florida which made us nervous to even eat our dinners. The food ended up being terrible, very salty, not fresh and beef had a slightly spoiled taste. The Pinot Noir wine tasted and looked like red wine vinegar.

We were there for my moms birthday. Hostess and waitress were both so friendly. Our meals were delicious. My mom loved her lasagna and my penne salmonate was amazing!

First time eating here. Food was outstanding. All real ingredients you expect in an authentic Italian restaurant. Service was impeccable. Don't hesitate to try this gem of a place. We will go back!

First I do not like giving poor reviews. On Siesta Key, FL on a Friday night you really need to arrive early or have a reservation. When I went into my OT app late and could get a reasonable time slot maybe that should have warned me? But back a few year ago we had eaten here and we honestly didn't remember not enjoying it. They have various seating area inside and out, the most charming outside area being the upper outside porch area. Unfortunately I didn't not request that we were seated in an area that was originally part of the parking lot. My chair was facing a parked car, my husband's looked across this relatively small seating area at the white plastic windows that were down because of the wind. Otherwise he would have been looking at the valet parking attendant. When the waiter came a 1/2 hour after we were seated, he did the normal request for drinks/water. When he returned he asked if we were interested in hearing the specials? Not understand the first several then he didn't give any pricing which always perturbs us, because we shouldn't have to ask how much they are? Right? It should automatically be part of the waiters information. Unless the restaurant is so high end that if you have to ask you shouldn't be eating there. This place wasn't like that. Then he left to get drinks another 10-15 minutes. Not being real hungry we ordered a Caesar salad and one of their specialty pizza's. Asking for the salad to come out first which it didn't. This 12” pizza took forever to come out of the kitchen. But some bread/rolls showed up and the neighboring tables meals arrived as we listened to there complaints while waiting for our meal. Thank goodness we didn't order full meals! When our salad and pizza came out the salad was crip, actually tasted good. But our pizza was ridiculously bad! One area had nothing but dough, not even sauce and cheese! It was as limp as a rag doll, the sausage was tiny crumbles didn't taste like sausage. Would not recommend eating here.

Had a wonderful meal here. Sat out on the “patio”. Had excellent and attentive service. We (me & my teen) had a very simple order: caprese salad, Greek salad and pizza Marguerita. We shared everything. They brought a basket of fresh bread and focaccia to start, with dipping oil. Focaccia was excellent! Both salads were terrific. The pizza was absolutely wonderful and I am picky about pizza. Crust was deliciously fluffy, not too much sauce or cheese and actual fresh basil leaves. You know how you usually throw away the pizza crusts? Well they were so good we dipped them in the dipping oil and devoured them. This was a simple but very satisfying meal with bill before tip ~$52. Highly recommend and plan to go back. Possibly my fave pizza I've ever had, definitely in top 5.

We loved this hidden jem amidst a ton of beachy places in Siesta Key! The food and service was wonderful!

Had a reservation and sat at the table for over an hour before we were told they were out of what we ordered. Then found out they never even put in our order. Server never asked if we wanted more drinks while we were waiting. Ended up leaving without even getting our food. Manager and server weren't phased at all. Pretty much told us too bad. Would not recommend

Or party of 6 was promptly seated w reservation. 2 ppl w soup delayed dinner more than expected. Pretty loud everywhere. Food was really great

The place is bustling and enjoyable with food that is a party in your mouth. The service is attentive even in the crowds. Highly recommend

Andy, our waiter made our night. We were sitting waiting for service about 15 minutes and he “happened” upon us and took care of us. He saved our night with his quick wit and great customer service! Thanks so much, Andy!

Food was fresh and amazing. Staff was great. Our number 1 choice for dinner on Siesta Key.
