Florence and the Spice Boys

Best meal in a few years along with great atmosphere! We started with corn ribs, sweet potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and hummus for appetizers. Drinks were great, old fashioned, midnight, Cassandra and the Normans! Then we had steak kabobs, steamed octopus, the burger, shrimp and lemon potatoes. Deserts were manna split, soft serve with sea salt and olive oil, custard pie, sticky croissant with pistachio. Everything was absolutely perfect, and spectacular! If you come to Sarasota be sure you go the Florence and the Spice Boys! At UTC mall area.

This is an excellent restaurant! Had a great meal with wonderful vibes ! Staff was terrific as well. I strongly recommend you check it out!

Absolutely delicious food, beautiful restaurant, and friendly employees! We drive all the way from Englewood for some delicious F&tSB! Highly recommended.

We've come and stayed at the beach the last 3 years with another couple and last year we discovered this place. We couldn't wait to go back this year, and it did not disappoint! Cassandra was our first server tonight and was so friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions, and making us feel unrushed. It seems the servers share the tables, and they were all very attentive and friendly. Love all the books in this place, and the general vibe and feel is relaxed. Now, onto the food! We shared an order of the lamb flatbread, and it was SO good! We had ordered pita and hummus, and I had some of the hummus with the lamb flatbread - highly recommend! We each ordered bowls, and the colors and flavors were vibrant and tasty! Our dinner was topped off by chocolate covered dates stuffed with crunchy peanut butter and pecans and sea salt! Mwah! Delish! No wonder they have a 4.9 rating after over 800 reviews! They deserve it, and you owe it to yourself to check them out!
